Old School Laundry

I have used this product for years and years. I have cleaned with it, especially like it on walls. Yes that's right, I still spring clean and winter clean my walls. My favorite use is in the laundry, I separate my laundry in 3 categories, whites, colors and darks. I mostly use the borax in my colors to keep them bright, I find it cheaper and more effective than dry bleach products. It also doesn't make the laundry stiff like some of the other laundry enhancers. It is great for mop water too, cuts greasy residue.

Multi-task Cleaner

20 Mule Team Borax can be used in the laundry as a water softener or to help remove stains. I also use 20 Mule Team Detergent as a carpet stain treatment. There are endless uses of Borax.

Great product, very versatile!

I've been using Borax in my laundry for years. It makes my colors bright without harsh bleach! Borax is also a great tile cleaner! We mix it into a paste with water and then clean the grout in the shower tiles. I use borax in every load of laundry I do. It goes a long way to preserving my clothing. Colors don't fade as quickly and always look bright when you pull them from the dryer. Borax also is good for removing stains. I've had borax pull out everything fron ink to sweat to paint.

Great in Homemade Laundry Soap

I make my own laundry soap & Borax is one ingredient I never leave out. It also worked great around the base of the commode. It got the rust up like a breeze & left no harsh chemical smell. I have used it to clean the rust out of the bathroom & kitchen sink. It will leave the commode sparkly. Use it to deoderize the carpet without strong smells. My favourite all-purpose cleaner.

Borax

I love this product. It is great for making your own laundry and dishwasher detergent! Borax used in homemade cleaners will clean better than the store bought name brand product and it saves so much money!!

hard to find product.

Thank you K-mart for carrying this old time product, that I remember my grandmother and mother using. It is my laundry booster, better than other products that I have tried, and much much cheaper, than the other products out there on the market. I totally appreciate, that you carry this. Don't Stop!

Natural cleaner!

Whitens and brightens laundry like a dream! Use to make your own laundry detergents for pennies! Sprinkle it on your campfire to make green flames and freak your kids out!
Safe to use around children and pets.

The one item always on my shelf

This all purpose cleaner is always in my home. I used it as a deodorant for mold and mildew on wet, moldy carpet at work and was sold! In a matter of 5 minutes, the smell was gone. Nothing else worked (that could be safely used in an enclosed area). Made into a solution and sprayed on mildew prone areas, stops any mold and algae growth. When my naughty dogs insist on marking off-limits areas, it kills the smell! Sprinkled on carpets, rugs, matresses,, car floors, etc., will make any odor disappear without toxic, smelly perfumes used in popular sprays which cover-up the offending bacteria and make it smell twice as bad. Used in laudry, leaves all perfumes out of your clothes. Line drying after using Borax eliminates the need for waxy clothes sofeners too. Even my line- dried towels are soft and smell sunshine fresh. Used in the garbage disposal gets rid of all that gunk and smells. Wonderful product with so many uses.

A timely product!

Borax has been around for a long time. We live in a rural area with well water and our white clothes discolor over time. Borax helps to keep the whites brighter.

20 Mule Team Borax has many uses around the house!

I didn't know what Borax was until we bought a house with a swimming pool - now we use the 20 Mule Team Borax as a substitute for "pH Up" in our pool - same ingredient but much cheaper! Once we had it around the house though, we found that it's great in the laundry - helps get whites super-bright! Also can be used for other cleaning tasks and many similar tasks as baking sode. The 20 Mule Team is one of the best (and only) brands of pure borax out there - I've tried buying cheaper varieties, but they don't tend to be as finely ground as the 20 Mule Team and didn't seem to work as well in the laundry. I think this is one of those products that it's worth buying name brand.
