My daughter wanted higher boots and these fit the bill, since we bought these we have filled the closet with 10 pairs of many colors and styles and all from Sears!! Thank you again for the great deals!
bought for work , poorly made made feet sweat
Love Love LOVE these boots. Great price so I bought two pair. Super cute and Super Comfy!
The boot was a perfect fit the service was superb and this was a good all around experience.
I was looking for some flat boots yet stylish and the right price, and I found these! They're my first pair of boots, and are very comfortable. The buckles are adjustable if you have a wider calf or if you need to fix your pants into them. I'm wearing them right now, and are so much warmer then sneakers! :)
When I first saw these boots, I was extremely excited because I had been looking around for a design exactly like this. Better yet, it was on sale for $25, so I had to get it! The fit is fine, although I would recommend trying this one on in the store instead of ordering online, since the top fits pretty snug with jeans. I'm 4'11," and I weigh around 105lbs. My calves aren't really skinny, but they aren't huge either. However, the snugness isn't the reason I bumped the rating down.
I'm rating these boots 2 stars because the material is VERY cheap. I had worn the boots for only 3 hours, and the faux suede had already been torn, revealing the white rubbery material beneath. All I did was walk the equivalent of 2 blocks on even, dry terrain, and then sit in a chair. There was no reason why the material should have ripped so easily. Upon closer inspection, I noticed how flimsy the boot's construction was, and I fully expect to see actual holes in the shoes by the end of the month. The bottoms of the boots were also more worn down in those 2 blocks of walking than the bottoms of the $20 pair of shoes I bought from Payless over a year ago, which is kind of funny, considering these boots were originally $70-80. Luckily, I didn't pay that much, although now that I've seen how flimsy the boots are, I probably wouldn't have wanted to pay more than $15. The poor quality is a shame because I really loved these boots when I first got them!
I want to also point out that I have never actually owned a "quality" pair of shoes, as I almost always buy often-crappy, off-brand footwear, and this was my first shoe purchase over $20. I've worn some pretty poorly-made shoes, from Meijer converse knockoffs to gym shoes that didn't even have a discernable brand printed on them, so I was pretty surprised to find that I would come across something even worse in a pair of boots with such a high MSRP.
I am absolutely in love with these boots! I bought two pairs! I have a hard time finding boots to fit my calves (my calves are very thin), and these fit PERFECTLY! They're the exact style I was looking for- boots that can be dressy or casual. I can wear them to work or just while I'm out on the town! It should be noted again, though, that I have VERY scrawny calves, so these might not fit anyone with more shapely legs. But for me, they're absolutely perfect.
My daughter reall loves these boots.
item came in good time and i'v worn it couple times and it feels great. i just hope i dont have those problems like the other reviews, but then again things can be different
This is the second boot that Sears has claimed to have a side zip, when in fact it doesn't. If your calves are just a little bit wider like mine are and can't get into regular slouch boots as easily without a zipper, then you need to know this. None of the Emilia boots have a zipper. I even double checked at a Sears store.
I ordered these in August because with Fall coming up, I needed a good pair of black boots. I finally wore these in October, and they looked good, the first couple of times. Now, I have noticed that there are nicks in the "faux-suede" even though I have only worn them a few times and do not recall doing anything that would scratch the surface. They are also starting to look a little mishapen.
For the price paid for these, you could get a similar pair for $20. They are not the best quality and will not last through the Winter. I will try to make the best of them until they are completely worn. By the look of things, I am guessing I'll get another month out of them.
