Just like Karione's review my son's pants tore on the right side seam today. Like Karione said"DON'T Buy these jeans"
I have purchase many pairs of you Canyon River Boys elastic waist cargo jeans. The new "Dark Wash" denim is terrible. Just purchased three pairs on January 16, 2013 and they already have holes at he corners of the cargo pockets. BRING BACK the previous dark denim!!! They were AWESOME. Our boys have Developmental Delays and these pants and the cargo shorts were an answer to prayer! I guess in an effort to reduce cost you switched to a less expensive material. Big mistake!! I can't afford these to only last 1 month!!!I'll just have to shop elsewhere.
These are the only pants my son will wear. Due to sensory processing disorder, he wont wear anything with fasteners, so these are perfect and he likes all the pockets. I wish the sizes ran different but they are the same as any other kind, that's just a personal preference. My son wears the 14/16, but they are too long. He needs a 14, but elastic waist pants only come in the double sizes.
fit my chubby grandson well and he loves the pockets. would buy this again this time several pairs
My son has been wearing these pants for years now and the last four pairs have split in odd places.The last two pairs have torn from the waist band to the pocket no where near a seam, another developed a strange thin spot in the front near the waist band. The last pair were only worn for 3-4 hours. I would not recommend these any longer the quality is very poor recently.
I would have to agree with MomKnows. My son loves these pants. He is now in the third grade and I buy him several pair before each school year and they have all held up very well and have been nice enough to still be able to hand down to others. I will continue to buy these as long as they still fit him.
Jeans fell apart after wearing them once! The both side cargo pocket tore along the seam. I have bought these in the past and they held up well. These are not the same quality.
I have to disagree with the first reviewer. I bought a black, blue and khaki pair (for school uniforms) and I am impressed with the quality. These pants have been holding up since the beginning of September and they wash well. These are great for the fall season, but I would recommend something a little heavier for the winter season.
I bought several pairs of these and every single pair has literally fallen apart, always along the same seam -- right side, inseam. I know kids are tough on clothes, but this is obviously a structural flaw. Do not buy these pants.

Bought this for my son for BTS, and it fits perfectly. He likes the elastic waist feature for all his shorts and pants. Searched everywhere, and Sears had it! Material feels durable and not cheap. Will buy more.
These are great pants for my son who has special needs and needs help with lifting up his pants. Since they are elastic, he is proud that he can do it himself. Well made, they have kept their shape and color after many washes.
My son wears these pants as part of his school uniform. The pants are especially nice for little kids when using the restroom. No hard buttons or snaps to undo. Very comfortable to wear too.
My grandson has a bit of a middle, but these pants fit perfect. They are light and wash great
the pull on cargo pants are the best for kids. Kids are kids - they want comfort. Its the parents that are into the styles and want to dress our kids like mini adults. why can't they continue to make the jeans like this? I can't find them at all for older boys even.my boys love them! They don't tuck their shirts in - what kids wants to? My boys have to tuck in their shirts everyday for school - when they are home and playing they like to just be comfy and run around and have fun. These clothes are a great price too, where if they get them wrecked - it won't break the bank to replace them!BUT - wish they still sold the jeans. Where are the jeans like this???? I can't find them anywhere!!!! Help anyone? Does anyone have that answer - ? why did they stop making the jeans??? Thanks again for selling a useful well priced product! muah !!!Jeanne
