I purchased this HDTV Essentials kit on June 8, 2010 from my local Sears store. I took the kit home, opened it up, and put it right to good use.
I needed a second HDMI cable for my Playstation 3 console, and this Belkin cable did the trick. I trust Belkin items- I have a Belkin wireless router at home, as well as a wireless network adapter, and they all work well.
I plugged my Wii, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3 consoles into the 3-outlet surge protector, and so far, it works well. It helps un-clutter all of the wires around my entertainment center.
I tried out the HDTV cleaning kit as well- it really helped with the dust on my television screen and chassis.
Overall, this is a great product that I would recommend to anyone with a High-Definition television set. It is worth the money that you will spend on it.

These are three places to plug in your components and the TV cable. But the is no way to plug the unit into a power outlet allowing you to power your plugged in components.
