Easy to assemble

This was easy to assemble, although it did take me 5 hours the direction was easy to follow step by step. I set this up by myself using the tools that was supplied in the package and took my time. Be patient! I suggest when taking it out of the box take the parts out and separate to better organize yourself for working space. As far as the Trio Trainer watch the video if you are a novice to learn how to use this, otherwise very easy to use and I am happy with my Trio Trainer.

Spend more money on something of better quality

I bought this on Black Friday and even with the steep discount this was anything but a good purchase. The product does no function well as a recumbent or upright bike. The eliptical is OK, but pretty unstable and definitely unfit for anyone 200lbs+. The return process is anything but easy if you are ordering through Sears and customer service representatives are not knowledgeable and are misleading.

Didn't Work, Warranty Worthless

I was really excited about this item, but it worked for less than 15 minutes. I ran 10 minutes one day just to test it out, and then the next day within 5 minutes it started thumping inside the case. It sounds like maybe the belt slipped. Sears offered to send someone out to look at it (great!) but when they realized it was Body Flex they said something about not being licensed to service Body Flex equipment and the manufacturer would. Body Flex and their warranty were useless - they'll replace parts, but they don't service the machine so unless you can diagnose the problem yourself or pay someone to look at it those 'free' replacement parts are useless. The woman I spoke with at Body Flex agreed it was probably the belt and if *I* wanted to open it up I could, but she was kind enough to warn me that would void any option to return it to the store. I really felt at that point I had no choice but to return an already-built machine to the store. Believe me, getting it into the car was no fun task. Sears was good about the return, but I'm disappointed all around because this was obviously a defective piece of equipment and it was on me to either pay to have it serviced or get it back to the store. I could see if I had it a while, but it was less than a week old and used for less than 15 minutes. I'm guessing mine was a dud, but no way am I trusting anything by Body Flex again.

Great piece of equipment!

The Trio Trainer is the best multi-functional elliptical machine I've seen on the market. It is safe, quiet, compact, versatile, well built, fun as well as good looking. I'm 6'5" 230 pounds and it has been very stable underneath me. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone!

Trio Trainer

The seat is very conformable compared to most exercise bikes. The exercise bike works very well, however, the elliptical is not very sturdy.

Decent for Price

Definitely not a top of the line, but we did not expect that. Originally wanted an elliptical, but didn't want to spend that kind of money and have my husband not be able to use it also. This item was the compromise. Husband is 6'3" about 190lbs....the machine does wobble some when he uses as an elliptical so he will stick with the bike features. Can see why some people called it cheap or not good for a heavier person, but for me at 5'5" 130lbs its fine. With 2 of us working to put together, it didn't take terribly long. We did have 1 piece that was not correctly threaded, after calling the company they will be sending a replacement.

Works great for me

Great price and works well for me. I am shorter and about 130 pounds so that's why I think it works well for me. A larger person might bump into the seat while using the elliptical or feel unsteady on it.

Good machine for the price

My husband assembled yesterday - did take about five hours, but he said it was easier than most. Machine seems very sturdy, and easy to use. I love the fact that this is 3 exercises in one! Easy on my old knees.

Affordable and Quality Workout

1.) It is very affordable and provides 3 exercises in 1 machine; it really works different parts of your legs and the transition is easy and seemless.

2.) Instructions are simple and easy to follow.

3.) Programs are good and you can make custom ones (up to four)

4.) User Interface is not as advanced as expensive models and has no water bottle holder. However, for the price and the workout it gives it is worth not paying $200 for an elliptical with a holder and better interface.

I would say a 9/10
