This was easy to assemble, although it did take me 5 hours the direction was easy to follow step by step. I set this up by myself using the tools that was supplied in the package and took my time. Be patient! I suggest when taking it out of the box take the parts out and separate to better organize yourself for working space. As far as the Trio Trainer watch the video if you are a novice to learn how to use this, otherwise very easy to use and I am happy with my Trio Trainer.
I was really excited about this item, but it worked for less than 15 minutes. I ran 10 minutes one day just to test it out, and then the next day within 5 minutes it started thumping inside the case. It sounds like maybe the belt slipped. Sears offered to send someone out to look at it (great!) but when they realized it was Body Flex they said something about not being licensed to service Body Flex equipment and the manufacturer would. Body Flex and their warranty were useless - they'll replace parts, but they don't service the machine so unless you can diagnose the problem yourself or pay someone to look at it those 'free' replacement parts are useless. The woman I spoke with at Body Flex agreed it was probably the belt and if *I* wanted to open it up I could, but she was kind enough to warn me that would void any option to return it to the store. I really felt at that point I had no choice but to return an already-built machine to the store. Believe me, getting it into the car was no fun task. Sears was good about the return, but I'm disappointed all around because this was obviously a defective piece of equipment and it was on me to either pay to have it serviced or get it back to the store. I could see if I had it a while, but it was less than a week old and used for less than 15 minutes. I'm guessing mine was a dud, but no way am I trusting anything by Body Flex again.
We purchased the Body Flex Body Power 3-In-1 Trio Trainer for our home gym and really love it. Its great that you have three workouts in one machine. Would recommend.
As previously mentioned, was easy to put together, especially when son-in-law came along & finished it off. But all parts well labelled & very visible.
Easy to assemble, the reviews I have read everyone says it takes 5 hours to assemble, that is hard to believe, it only took 1 hour and 55 minutes and I am a 54 year old female. The direction are super easy to follow. I do recommend that you lay all the parts out before you start to work. Anyway the work out is great, my 16 year old loves it. It is compact and fits into the corner of a spare room. The cons are that it will wiggle a little on carpet but not so much to encumber your work out.
nice switch from treadmill. I had grown board. Also very quiet.
Bought this item since its a 3-in-1 trio trainer and elliptical is easier on the knees compared to running. I have set-it up in basement which is carpeted. The unit was easy to put together with clear instructions. I am 6' feet tall and my wife is 5' 10" tall we could use it comfortably with no major issues. One minor issue that I have found is wobble when using elliptical, I am 200 pounds and floor is carpeted so I am not sure whether that is the reason. The wobble itself is bearable. The pedals for both elliptical and bike is plastic so I am not sure how long they will survive but I have not noticed any issues to suggest they wont. The computer is basic with varying levels of exercise and simple enough just as I wanted.
This is the best tri trainer I ever owned. Suits 7 ft folks as well. Very well built and good quality material. Best value for the money. Strongly recommend trying it. Thanks.
My husband and I are enjoying this exercise machine very well. It is easy to use and makes exercising enjoyable. We opted to take our purchase home and assemble it ourselves rather than pay the extra for delivery and assembly. It was definitely worth doing it ourselves. The instructions for assembly were excellent. My husband didn't curse once! Which, that in itself, was a miracle. We have had the machine for a month now and I can truly say I have been using it faithfully every weekday.
We were looking for something easy to use and we found it in the 3-in-1 Trio Trainer. We are just starting to exercise regularly so get tired but like that you can also sit and use it also.
This is a few a t choice for your home gym as it is 3 devices in one. It is a recumbent bike, an elliptical and a stepper. This provides a great cardio b workout. It is a great value at $499.00.
This has all the tools for assembly. The easy # parts. The trio-trainer is very quiet and easy to move and store. I am very satisfied with the comfort and performance.
Hubby just got it put together over the weekend, and said it was pretty easy once you unpacked all the parts. I got this to hopefully strengthen muscles that are weak due to illness, and if I lose weight too...WIN -WIN!!
I bought this after reading reviews and checking it out at the store. It works well if you take time when building it. I like the elliptical style and bike style giving me options with my workout. Good for home use.
The only reason I give this 4 stars is because the instruction manual was not that clear in how to install a couple of pieces. Other than that I love it.
If you are looking for a work out machine that is basic this is perfect! The only downfall is there's no holder for water bottles and you have to plug it in if you want to use the settings. But other wise this machine glides smoothly and was easy to put together!
Works good however, pad does not light up so it's hard to see the programs
i use my trainer daily, i had no idea it had so many programs and combinations of settings. it took me by surprise because i was on a setting that take your rate to different levels and when it started to adjust on its own i was blown away, it was worth every penny
I read the manual and watched the CD (which was totally useless). The device has a computer with a display but grossly lacks instructions on how to use the device. The computer gives you info on time, distance, calories etc. but they are worthless unless you know specifically how they work. The exercise issue is the tension on the stride..ie how difficult is it to make the peddles go round. It has 13 preprogrammed exercise routines but the manual uses words to describe the computer that actually are not on the computer. Besides the tension is the length of the stride. It says manually adjustable but nothing shows you how to adjust. And, don't waist your time going to the in store staff, they are clueless. One good thing, for $50 you can buy the assembly...do it. It took two delivery staff 45 minutes to put this machine together. Better yet, don't buy it at all. Go for the higher price units and a full explanation by in store staff.
Found that using this it squeaked and had a "bump, bump" on each tire rotation. Paid too much for this quality. Hard to program. Wasn't very user friendly.
Taking the item back for a return
