Easy to assemble

This was easy to assemble, although it did take me 5 hours the direction was easy to follow step by step. I set this up by myself using the tools that was supplied in the package and took my time. Be patient! I suggest when taking it out of the box take the parts out and separate to better organize yourself for working space. As far as the Trio Trainer watch the video if you are a novice to learn how to use this, otherwise very easy to use and I am happy with my Trio Trainer.

Didn't Work, Warranty Worthless

I was really excited about this item, but it worked for less than 15 minutes. I ran 10 minutes one day just to test it out, and then the next day within 5 minutes it started thumping inside the case. It sounds like maybe the belt slipped. Sears offered to send someone out to look at it (great!) but when they realized it was Body Flex they said something about not being licensed to service Body Flex equipment and the manufacturer would. Body Flex and their warranty were useless - they'll replace parts, but they don't service the machine so unless you can diagnose the problem yourself or pay someone to look at it those 'free' replacement parts are useless. The woman I spoke with at Body Flex agreed it was probably the belt and if *I* wanted to open it up I could, but she was kind enough to warn me that would void any option to return it to the store. I really felt at that point I had no choice but to return an already-built machine to the store. Believe me, getting it into the car was no fun task. Sears was good about the return, but I'm disappointed all around because this was obviously a defective piece of equipment and it was on me to either pay to have it serviced or get it back to the store. I could see if I had it a while, but it was less than a week old and used for less than 15 minutes. I'm guessing mine was a dud, but no way am I trusting anything by Body Flex again.

Take your time putting it together. I recommend to leave the installation of the various covers until the end so you can recheck that all bolts are tightened properly. The instructions say to install the covers at an earlier point of the process.

The 3 in 1 is a great piece of equipment. Its footprint is small so placing the unit is very easy especially compared to the larger/heavier units. Having a recumbent and regular bicycle really is a plus. After you do the stand up arm/leg function, sitting and doing the bike functions give you a great all around workout using the different level available.

On my first day of using the unit, I did 4 complete levels. Definitely a full workout! Good thing I also to 20 miles a day on my regular bicycle. If not I surely would have been quite sore.

I put this unit into one of my spare bedrooms. There is carpet on the floor, so to have much less side to side motion due to the soft floor I put a 4'x2.5' plywood on the floor to put the unit onto. Really made a difference.

If you are looking for a great elliptical not costing all outdoors that gives you three different ways to workout that gives the results you want, I definitely recommend this unit.

p. s. I have lost 19 pounds in one month already.

Purchased this couple of months ago. Product is heavy so require two person to carry in house. Assembly was labor intensive. It took more than hour to assemble. Instructions were clear. Product works as described.

Nice

It was easy to assemble. All parts was in the box. I had some difficulties putting the grey covers on the back part. The computer is not very user friendly and not easy to set up for a user. The machine is not as easy as the ones in the gym.

Not Happy at all

|

Not really sure if this product is good or not. The 2 guys that brought it had no clue how to assemble it ( I paid extra for that). I used it 4 times, a total of about an hour and it is broke. The screen is litterally held in place with rubber bands. Not supposed to be, very poor assembly by delivery team.

Both good and not so good

|

I had a little trouble with assembly. It took just over 2 hours,
but the lower hand bar pieces were not welded straight.
I had to take off a few pieces already installed to get the
others put together. It does work but I feel that it is most
likely running stiffly. The instruction video stinks it does
not tell about what the programs do. It also cuts off
before it is actually over.

Versatile Machine

|

This equipment is versatile and offers much to help one obtain a satisfactory workout. Assembly is time consuming and can be difficult and frustrating. The small part supply seems unending.

Great piece of equipment!

|

The Trio Trainer is the best multi-functional elliptical machine I've seen on the market. It is safe, quiet, compact, versatile, well built, fun as well as good looking. I'm 6'5" 230 pounds and it has been very stable underneath me. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone!

Trio Trainer

The seat is very conformable compared to most exercise bikes. The exercise bike works very well, however, the elliptical is not very sturdy.

Decent for Price

|

Definitely not a top of the line, but we did not expect that. Originally wanted an elliptical, but didn't want to spend that kind of money and have my husband not be able to use it also. This item was the compromise. Husband is 6'3" about 190lbs....the machine does wobble some when he uses as an elliptical so he will stick with the bike features. Can see why some people called it cheap or not good for a heavier person, but for me at 5'5" 130lbs its fine. With 2 of us working to put together, it didn't take terribly long. We did have 1 piece that was not correctly threaded, after calling the company they will be sending a replacement.

Works great for me

|

Great price and works well for me. I am shorter and about 130 pounds so that's why I think it works well for me. A larger person might bump into the seat while using the elliptical or feel unsteady on it.

Good machine for the price

|

My husband assembled yesterday - did take about five hours, but he said it was easier than most. Machine seems very sturdy, and easy to use. I love the fact that this is 3 exercises in one! Easy on my old knees.
