Quick and easy to assemble. Clear instructions, minimal work. Splits logs 25 in. with ease. White and red oak, hickory, black walnut, cedar all without a problem. Some of these logs were so hard a 8 pound splitting maul only bounced off them. My wife was amazed at the ease. Considered purchasing a larger unit initially, but weight caught my eye. Recommend placing on the tailgate of pick-up or on a platform.
