">Online Only PriceMy drive is about 20 years old and is very rough so it collects dirt in short order. A pressure washer will clean it but it is an inch at a time. This unit cleans a wide area and all you have to do is let is hover over the tough areas and it even cleans those. One of the best purchases I have made. Highly recommended.
I bought and returned two of these. It worked great for the first 15mins. Then when I released pressure from my gun and went to reapply it, the surface cleaner would no longer spin. I started and stopped it several times and it would no longer turn, only spray. I have a pressure washer that is 3000 psi and 2.5 gpm with a honda engine and it is only a year old. I ended up having to clean my driveway the old fashioned way. Like I said it did work great when it turned but why risk it.
Based on reviews I purchased this item. What piece of junk. My power washer is rated @ 1750 psi. Water trickled out of the jets, no pressure. Using regular connections everything is great. Will return this to sears today.
This product is great! I have Kool Deck around my pool and every spring I have to clean it off. This is a very porous and heavily soiled area. The pressure washer with the normal tip takes practically the whole day, cleaning a 2 - 3 inch swath at a time. With the surface cleaner, I cleaned an area that would have taken well over 1/2 hour in less than 5 minutes. If you have concrete sidwalks, patios or decks to clean this is the tool you need. It works just like the video shows.
It used to take me about 5 hours to do my all driveway. I bought this product after trying it at Sears Demodays and i washed my all driveway in just an hour and half!

I bought this hoping it would clean half as well as my neighbor?s professional surface cleaner that I borrowed 6 years ago. Other than being smaller in diameter this cleaner worked as well as the professional model. I used it with a Generac 3000psi 2.7gpm pressure washer. My driveway is laid out in 12X12 sections, with this cleaner I was cleaning a section every 11 minutes. This was a very dirty drive. I was so impressed that I had to stop and take pictures, but I can?t add them here. The only drawback I found (if you can call it a drawback) is it leaves about an inch of area from any edge the cleaner hits. A neighbor came over while I was refilling the pressure washer with gas and ask about the surface cleaner. I offered to let him use it at his house, he declined the offer and went home and ordered one for himself. Hopefully this will last several seasons, if not I will buy another one of these when/if it breaks.
I just got this thinking if it helped a little I would be happy. It is about 10 times faster and does a great job. I have a huge drive way and a wrap a round deck. My family and I spent 5 days pressure washing the drive way and got only about half done. We finished in 5 hours with this. I love it!! This is a must have in the Pacific North West to get rid of moss.
Takes about 1/4 of the amount of time to do my driveway with 1/10 of the effort. Great product at a great price. I was a little weary of the plastic body, but it does hold up.
Excellent for power washing your flat surfaces. Cuts thru dirt/mold/algae and your done in 1/3 of the time vs using the spray nozzel.
This Craftsman Surface Washer lasted all of five (5) minutes before leaking out the top of the unit from the seals in the brass head to either side of the quick connector feed. This is the axis that allows the wand to move up and down. The loss in pressure due to the leak stops the wand from spinning. I was operating at 2400psi. I would not recommend this product as it was effectively 'out of the box' defective. Poor craftsmanship, Made in China.
Ordinarily, I don't write reviews for products I buy, but I feel obligated to do so for this one. I am absolutely amazed at how well this product worked. I'm simply a homeowner, not a professional, but in my opinion it's an excellent value for the money. After spending hours going back and forth in tiny lines with a regular nozzle and missing various spots, I figured that there had to be a better way to clean my aggregate pool patio. I took the plunge on this product based on the reviews and figured it couldn't be any worse than what I was already doing. All I can say is WOW. It performed well above my highest expectations at getting the worked in grime out of the patio surface. I re-washed the whole patio in the time it used to take to do about 1/4 of it (and the results were, much much better with this tool). I will say that it's great at getting the dirt loose, but it's not the best at pushing it away after it's loose. That small issue is the only thing that wasn't simply off the charts in performance, and I'd still probably rate that issue as performing "fair to good". It's not terrible at this, but it's a bit complicated to direct the dirty water where you want it. What I found worked best was using it in conjunction with a "fan" nozzle. After getting everything loose, in an area, simply clip off the surface cleaner, and click on a fan spray. The debris is detached enough so you can move it easily with a fan nozzle (and if you don't have one, I bet a regular garden hose sprayer would even work for this) and blow it in which ever direction you like. It's simply a bit easier to direct with that than the surface cleaner. When done with that area, click the cleaner back on and repeat in the next area. In fact it cleaned so well, I found I didn't even need to bother with the concrete washer mix I had. There was no difference between using it and not, which I think is more of a complement to this washer than a detriment to the soap, which has worked well in the past for me. Less chemicals on the patio is fine by me to get the same result. This thing saves time and effort, I can't say enough good things about it. Seriously, I am really critical on most designs, and I really, really liked that this one did a better job than claimed and certainly far better than my cynicism would have allowed me to predict.

I bought this with my new pressure washer to clean my drive way and patio. I was so happy I did it works great and it was worth the $69. It cleaned all the green off the patio that is always in the shade. It cleaned all the spots on my drive way. It just glides and cleans in half the time that just a nozzle will do. Great product.
I was totally satisfied with this attachment and how well it cleaned my back concrete patio. It was more powerful than I anticipated. The large swath it makes with each pass made the job go so fast that I was done in one-fourth the time it would take with just the wand and nozzle. Much cleaner to use and a water saver to boot. I have recommended this to several friends already.
I used to use just a nozzle to run through my driveway and it took forever. With this surface cleaner its like vacuuming the house. It helps and speeds up the process! Recommend!
After years of cleaning my patio with the ordinary wand, making zebra stripes all over or taking hours to carefully clean the whole thing, I got this yesterday and it is fantastic. It got the job done in record time, without stripes or tediously careful work.Well worth the cost.
I have a very large area of concrete and asphalt with moss in the shady areas... It cleaned it spotless taking 2 passes over the moss with no chemicals... It would normally be an all day job cleaning that took me 4 hours with absolutly no streaking as a final result!!! I'm running a 3500psi gas powered pressure washer!!!!
I got this surface cleaner when I bought my husband his Craftsman's power washer and it worker worderfully! It does such a great job that is uniform and mess free. We love it! It is well worth the money and it really couts down on your time to clean your flat surfaces like the garage floor or the driveway.
The surface cleaner makes what you might think is way too long with a spray wand is cut in half if not double with this surface cleaner. I have used it several times and it works AWESOME. Just be sure to shake and drain the water out of the thing before storing it. This is important if it is frigidly cold outside. I am on my second one as the first one sprung a leak in the pivot of the underside of the cleaner. It was under warranty so I had it replaced. Just be sure to keep it inside if its winter after use or drain it during the summer or spring after use. I suggest using a air hose from a gas station or if you got your own use it.
I have done our driveway once, a neighbors, our pastor's, and around my church's main entrances. Makes life easier. BUY IT!
It saves your back a lot too. It doesn't work great on aggregate/pebbles in driveways, but if you go slow it it might work for you. It has brushes around the circumference and it helps puch dirt and grime while you glide over the concrete walk/driveway/sidewalk.
I am pleased with the results from it.
After some testing, I found out that this attachment worked better when you first prep the area with a cleaning solution. I could tell the difference after cleaning half of our driveway by first applying a cleaning solution versus just using the attachment out right. I read somewhere that it can only handle around 2700 psi which is barely sufficient to clean a cement driveway using this device. This attachment was sold as a package that came with a 2700 psi washer. I would have given it 5 stars if it did not have this limitation. Otherwise, for cleaning wooden decks, I'm sure this would do a great job. It was easy to use. Made cleaning our driveway a breeze. Cut my work time by at least 75%!!!! My neighbor asked how well it performed and I recommended it to him.
