Great for flat surfaces

This attachment is great for flat surfaces so sidewalks and driveways. Had a few issues with paver deck though.

Worked Great until it didn't

I would have given the surface cleaner 5 stars until it quit operating. The first four hours of use it worked fantastic and then it quit spinning when water pressure was applied. Not sure what happened but I think the bushings went bad. I returned it for another and so far it is still working. If it remains reliable I would certainly recommend this product.

Surface cleaner

Our neighbor has it and it works great. My came with the bottom broken so it needs to be exchanged. It cleans a driveway perfectly in less time then just your power washer that is why I purchased it. I have a craftsman power washer and it fits it great. They also sell a cleaner for the power washer which gets all the black and green mold off.

Works great but seems to have a seal issue

The center seal seems to blow out , had to return for a swap out. Sears is great about standing behind the product! Not once have I purchased a product where Sears did not honor warranty. I only shop at sears for tools and such!

Very Good Surface Cleaner

Very good surface cleaner. Had my concrete looking like new again without using any cleaning products. Much faster than using the spray nozzles included with the pressure washer.

Great product, but chill with the threadlock!!!

I bought this yesterday and used it today and was expecting it to mess up after reading some reviews and guess what, IT DID!!!! But after reading the reviews that I did I had a better understanding of what the issue was and how to fix it. Yes, I would rather had a product I didn't have to fix right out of the box, but an adjustable wrench, a toothpick and about 5 minutes of time it was back to working as it should. This attachment makes short work of cleaning porches, driveways and it will be tackling my patio here in a little while when the temp starts to drop and the sun does too. I can honestly say if I hadn't read the reviews I did and still bought this attachment and had the same issues I still would give it 5 stars after I fixed it myself, NOT taking it back to the store like some folks and dogging this product out. This is a great product folks, but come on Craftsman chill out on the threadlock!!!! Thank you Craftsman for another great product!!!!

Best Concrete Cleaner

I put this on the end of my new Sears 2800 PSI /Quite Pressure Wash Gun with the auto chemical feeder. NO MIXING! Took me 30 minutes to clean a 20 FT X 30 FT patio covered in algae. If you have to clean concrete, this is the setup! I use to hate cleaning concrete and now I actually enjoy it!

Should have bought this years ago.

This works great. Did large patio, porch and sidewalk with no problems. Make sure and order a longer wand. It's a lot easier on your back.

Truly a winner 5 stars

I bought this item as my wife loves to use our pressure cleaner. We have the cleanest and whites sidewalks in Baldwin Park . We bought this to spruce up our large driveway into our garage. We have used it twice and in works great. It works just as well as the pressure cleaner and does the job in one fifth the time. I am sure it saves on water consumption and gasoline consumption. Our neighbors were so impressed with how well it worked for us that they have asked where we purchased. We loaned them ours to checkout at their house. I had read reports of problems occurring after repeated use but so far it has performed great. Briggs and Stratton makes a quality product. Our sidewalks and driveway are flat...not sure how well it will work on rough areas.

Should cost 19.99 for as cheap as it is.

I am very disappointed with this. With the Briggs name, good reviews (on other sites), and high price, I thought this was going to be awesome. It is not. It is very thin/cheap plastic. There is a reason they don't show detailed pictures! It also didn't do a very good job of cleaning. I have a nice pressure washer so that is not the problem. I hardly ever write bad reviews but this thing sucks. Should be about a third of the price.

Works great, you may have to clean nozzles after use

This works great. It will clean concrete in 1/5 the time. Mine worked great out of the box for about 3 uses. Then the nozzles stopped cleaning. I had to take off the nozzle assembly, clean out the spray nozzles from left over thread sealant. Good as new, cleaned just like new.

I was not impressed.

Don't waste your money. I tired this on my deck, and it wasn't that great. It didn't clean as well as I expected, and the price was too much for something that barely cleaned a wooden deck. I doubt it would work as well on concrete. Save your time and money.

Works Fine on Concrete

It works fine on my sidewalk and shined it up like fresh poured concrete.
The only issue I have is that it's a little awkward using the Spray Gun. Next, the driveway and it's a big job!

I only gave it 3 out 5 because I had to fix it! But it works great now!

The cleaner started out working great, but then stopped spinning up as many have stated in thier reviews. I took the underside apart and found out what is wrong with the device and the fix is easy! Water leaking out the center pivot is normal, for as fast as this thing spins, you just can't seal that spot that great! What the problem is that when the device was assembled at the factory, the assemblers got sloppy with the treadlock compound on the pipes! Instead of the threadlock being only on the pipe threads, they glopped on too much inside the joint, so excess material is inside the pipes. As you use the unit, that excess material comes off, and gums up the nozzels. You can use a 7/16 wrench to remove the nozzels, and a pick yo scrap out what has gotten stuck in the nozzels. Be careful not to force the pick into the nozzel as you can then damage the nozzel and not get the pattern need to clean the surfaces. It took about three times taking the nozzels off and cleaning before it finally got all of the excess material out of it, and it has been working great since.

Difficult keeping the surface cleaner from rising.

The pressure from the water prevents good control to keep the surface cleaner down. "It bounces up and down."

Briggs and Stratton Surface Cleaner

I was skeptical about this product but thought I'd try it. I was surprised at how great it worked. It made cleaning the floor of our deck much easier and faster. Be careful not to let it get stuck in a groove, if it does move it fast. This happened to me and I didn't get it moved fast enough and it wore into the wood in that spot a permanent circular groove. I took off one star for somehow it seemed the nozzle became clogged with something and for a while it wouldn't spin and it was vibrating like crazy. I tried cleaning it out and eventually it started to work again on it's own and it didn't happen again. Not sure if it was clogged or not as trying to clean it out didn't really fix it but eventually it started to work again as it should so I didn't return it and as I mentioned it never happened again. Over all it did a great job and I'd recommend it if pressure washing your deck floor or driveway, or any type of outdoor flooring like patios.

3... 2... 1... self destruct

Within 5 minutes of use the surface cleaner would no longer spin. I cleaned about 10 feet of walk way in half the normal time, but then I stopped to admire the cleaned concrete. Once i stopped, the surface cleaner wouldn't start spinning again. It was leaking water out from the center from where it spins.

Worth every penny!

I had looked at this for awhile, but wasn't sure it would be worth the money. It IS! Definite time saver and does an incredible job on sidewalks and paver patio. No striping/steaking and is as easy as pushing a vacuum cleaner.
