My drive is about 20 years old and is very rough so it collects dirt in short order. A pressure washer will clean it but it is an inch at a time. This unit cleans a wide area and all you have to do is let is hover over the tough areas and it even cleans those. One of the best purchases I have made. Highly recommended.
I would have given the surface cleaner 5 stars until it quit operating. The first four hours of use it worked fantastic and then it quit spinning when water pressure was applied. Not sure what happened but I think the bushings went bad. I returned it for another and so far it is still working. If it remains reliable I would certainly recommend this product.
I bought this item as my wife loves to use our pressure cleaner. We have the cleanest and whites sidewalks in Baldwin Park . We bought this to spruce up our large driveway into our garage. We have used it twice and in works great. It works just as well as the pressure cleaner and does the job in one fifth the time. I am sure it saves on water consumption and gasoline consumption. Our neighbors were so impressed with how well it worked for us that they have asked where we purchased. We loaned them ours to checkout at their house. I had read reports of problems occurring after repeated use but so far it has performed great. Briggs and Stratton makes a quality product. Our sidewalks and driveway are flat...not sure how well it will work on rough areas.
I am very disappointed with this. With the Briggs name, good reviews (on other sites), and high price, I thought this was going to be awesome. It is not. It is very thin/cheap plastic. There is a reason they don't show detailed pictures! It also didn't do a very good job of cleaning. I have a nice pressure washer so that is not the problem. I hardly ever write bad reviews but this thing sucks. Should be about a third of the price.
This works great. It will clean concrete in 1/5 the time. Mine worked great out of the box for about 3 uses. Then the nozzles stopped cleaning. I had to take off the nozzle assembly, clean out the spray nozzles from left over thread sealant. Good as new, cleaned just like new.
Don't waste your money. I tired this on my deck, and it wasn't that great. It didn't clean as well as I expected, and the price was too much for something that barely cleaned a wooden deck. I doubt it would work as well on concrete. Save your time and money.
This attachment is great for flat surfaces so sidewalks and driveways. Had a few issues with paver deck though.
It works fine on my sidewalk and shined it up like fresh poured concrete.
The only issue I have is that it's a little awkward using the Spray Gun. Next, the driveway and it's a big job!
The cleaner started out working great, but then stopped spinning up as many have stated in thier reviews. I took the underside apart and found out what is wrong with the device and the fix is easy! Water leaking out the center pivot is normal, for as fast as this thing spins, you just can't seal that spot that great! What the problem is that when the device was assembled at the factory, the assemblers got sloppy with the treadlock compound on the pipes! Instead of the threadlock being only on the pipe threads, they glopped on too much inside the joint, so excess material is inside the pipes. As you use the unit, that excess material comes off, and gums up the nozzels. You can use a 7/16 wrench to remove the nozzels, and a pick yo scrap out what has gotten stuck in the nozzels. Be careful not to force the pick into the nozzel as you can then damage the nozzel and not get the pattern need to clean the surfaces. It took about three times taking the nozzels off and cleaning before it finally got all of the excess material out of it, and it has been working great since.
The pressure from the water prevents good control to keep the surface cleaner down. "It bounces up and down."
I was skeptical about this product but thought I'd try it. I was surprised at how great it worked. It made cleaning the floor of our deck much easier and faster. Be careful not to let it get stuck in a groove, if it does move it fast. This happened to me and I didn't get it moved fast enough and it wore into the wood in that spot a permanent circular groove. I took off one star for somehow it seemed the nozzle became clogged with something and for a while it wouldn't spin and it was vibrating like crazy. I tried cleaning it out and eventually it started to work again on it's own and it didn't happen again. Not sure if it was clogged or not as trying to clean it out didn't really fix it but eventually it started to work again as it should so I didn't return it and as I mentioned it never happened again. Over all it did a great job and I'd recommend it if pressure washing your deck floor or driveway, or any type of outdoor flooring like patios.
This new surface cleaner works amazing, it's quicker, more consistent in cleaning the surface and saves on water and time. I love it! Thanks to the salesman who recommend it.
Item quit working within 10 minutes of use, Save your money & don't buy this. Saw many reviews warning about this but bought anyways, poor decision on my part ..
Within 5 minutes of use the surface cleaner would no longer spin. I cleaned about 10 feet of walk way in half the normal time, but then I stopped to admire the cleaned concrete. Once i stopped, the surface cleaner wouldn't start spinning again. It was leaking water out from the center from where it spins.
I had looked at this for awhile, but wasn't sure it would be worth the money. It IS! Definite time saver and does an incredible job on sidewalks and paver patio. No striping/steaking and is as easy as pushing a vacuum cleaner.
My new favorite toy. 3 to 4 times faster than using the wand to clean, no matter what tip you use. Cleans a 1 foot radius at a time. An absolute must have item for your pressure washer, if your planing to clean driveways & patio areas regularly.
works great don't rush it
Nices product... and great prices.
Easy to hook up and does
A good job
It took me about 50% less time to pressure wash the lanai decking than usual. The only issue was that the nozzle got clogged after a couple of hours. All i had to do was use a wrench and remove it and blow through it to remove the debris, Put it back together and in a few minutes it was working like a charm! I would recommend buying the extension wands (I did) to reduce back strain. Overall an excellent value for the money. Highly Recommend!
have the Craftsman 1,700 PSI, 1.3 GPM which this surface cleaner is recommended. used this once stop spinning in 2 min saw water leaking out of center. took back to store they ordered me a new one. picked up hooked it up and failed in 10sec leaking again in the center water only coming out of 1 jet. going to return and get my money back.
leaves no lines on the pavement
