I miss having am SLR camera and have been wanting a digital one for some time. This Canon is a great camera to have in your bag!! It's next on my list of products to buy.
I love this camera! It was my first DSLR camera & I still have it. I have been very happy with it. I love that it is 18mp, it takes great shots. I do recommend using other lenses with it though because you are pretty limited with the 18-55mm lens it comes with.
I like this camera a lot - it is a perfect introduction to the world of DSLRs. That being said, I miss having a point and shoot also. Additionally, I was sort of disappointing when I got it and discovered that now the limiting factor in my photo ability was ME and not the camera anymore. Since I got this though, I have significantly improved my photo skills and spent even more money on things like lenses, filters etc. to get the shots like I see on flickr and youtube.
