I bought this as a gift for my mom, in trying to hook it up I was not able to turn the volume down when playing through the tv. After several DAYS of trying to get through to the company I was informed that the system was not compatible with her tv...which there is not on the package, the instruction booklet, the site when purchasing, etc that states that this is only compatible with certain televisions!!

I had bought this home theatre system because I was really low on cash but wanted a home theatre surround sound system. I would recommend this product if only using it to watch movies or listen to am/fm radio. The sound quality for is great for the price and the brand of this product. My only problem with this product is that I was not able to hook up the surround sound to my television or gaming systems. I was told I needed an optical input/output. This product did not have it. However, if your just using this for music and movies, its an awesome deal. Loud, sounds great, you can adjust your bass and functions on the menu screen. Its very efficient in design and sound.
