Overall this screen porch is great. Construction is aluminum and powder coated. i built mine by myself, it would have been helpful with atleast 1 more person. the parts list is extensive, but clearly marked. suggest watching an online video on installation first, helped alot. only 1 piece was slightly machined incorrectly, just had to make a modification with a drill, and back to assembly. this porch is great quality, way better then big box stores products. plus the screen/screen door system is perfect to keep mosquitos OUT, great price considering a "real" screen room was estimated between 15k and 20 k. overall very pleased, got my tv out there, some nice furniture and it has really given us a truly wonderful additional room!
Much of the construction is reasonably solid. Everything was going good until I got to the sliding doors. After thoroughly inspecting the shipped contents I realized that the door wheels were missing. I called Sojag in Canada. It took 2½ weeks to get them to me. The door assembly consists of the door, the door wheel & mounting plate, and an extrusion to cover the door wheel and mounting plate. The slots in the extrusion do not match the PEMS inserts in the door. Still waiting for an answer from Sojag. So next I figured I would just mount the doors without the extrusions. After attaching the top roller guide extrusion to the solarium, I tried to install the first sliding door, which ended up being jammed between the top and bottom extrusions. The top roller guide has no up and down adjust and the door wheel mounting plate slots are only 9/32" long, which is virtually no adjustment for a #6 metric bolt. Don't know what Sojag plans to do about this yet. But I'm getting close to returning this product for a refund. More photos showing top and bottom interferrence of sliding door will follow.
