Does not work. Spits sugar everywhere!

If you want a good idea of what this product really is read the reviews on ******, I wish I would have. It does not work the way it says it does. If you put in more than a pinch of sugar it flys everywhere. Called company who has very poor customer service to be told that the engineer that created the item is out of the country for two months and they can't help me until he returns. It will be going back to the store.

worked for us; make sure the sugar goes in slowly

We found the cotton candy sugar tended to stick and not flow into the machine. This caused problems in that we had to kind of shake the unit in order for the sugar to get to the right spot to make it into cotton candy. I don't know if this is typical for this type of machine, but after we figured out what to do, it seemed "okay". Because of the sticking factor, the cotton candy came out intermittently, and not in a nice kind of "stream". Perhaps if the holes that allowed the sugar to come through were bigger, that would help, I don't know, but this is our experience. Not sure I'd recommend it to anyone else because I don't know if other machines like this have the same type of problem or not. I'm a novice at this kind of thing, so ....

Great while it worked.

My son loves cotton candy. He was really excited to receive this last Christmas. It worked twice and that was it. Fortunately, it was not that expensive.

CRA-Z-Cook Cotton Candy Maker

Not as easy as it looks and far from the large amount of cotton candy shown on the box. It took a half hour just to make a third of what was shown on the box. Also, dangerous since large pieces of melted sugar can shoot out and burn you. Just be VERY careful where you place your hands even when pouring the sugar in.

CRA-Z-Cook Cotten Candy Maker

Pretty cool gift to give to your kid in the pre-school grade school range. Kids get a kick out of this sort of thing but you'll want make sure they eat a balanced diet and brush theeth afterwards because this stuff is pure sugar! In otherwords, fun! Great idea for bithday parties too.

Excellant machine

This was my second cotton candy machine. I loved it. Small and compact, but very safe to use with the plastic protection parts. Even my 5 year old gandson was able to use this machine with little assistance from myself. It uses plain table sugar an is reasonably priced.

The CRA-Z-Cook Cotton Candy Maker makes tasty cotton candy

I purchased the cotton candy maker for my 8 year old daughter, who couldn"t wait to get it out of the box, for Christmas. The assembly was easy and it heated up in less than five minutes. The sugar wouldnt continuously feed into the machine so I used a spoon to guide it. I was able to make 3 small cones of tasty cotton candy before the sugar started to harden and stick to the spinner. We shut it down and cleaned it and had the same experience only the next time it wouldnt turn back on. Had to return it to the store.

Cotton Candy Maker- is okay.

We purchased this item for our daughter for Christmas. It took a couple of trys to get it working right, but it's okay. It's not like the picture, but the cotton candy is good and the kids have fun making it. They must have adult supervision while using so they don't touch inside the maker, but overall, they can make the candy themselves. This is a big hit. If you are expecting it to look like the pictures, then you will be disappointed. Also, get ready for a mess because it gets sugar everywhere. The front cover should not show the rainbow color when it's not included. Overall, my children like it and that's what matters.
