Reliability is it's name

Sears Craftsman 19.2 Cordless Hammer / Driver Drill is the best drill on the market. It has the power to drill in stone, concrete, mortar, brick and then to screw in your lag bolts. The easy hammer to driver switch glides in place with a simple turn,The batteries deliver strong power to get your jobs done. The 1 hour fast charger keeps the batteries fully charged and keeps you moving.This hammer / driver drill is the real deal for homeowners and contractors who want power and versatility at a good price.This tool definitely deserves the Craftsman name.

Broke on first use

When I seen this drill on sale I thought great I can use a new hammer drill at work,and of course our local Sears didnt have it in stock, so I had to wait a week for them to get it in, I used the drill today for the first time, drilling 1/4 inch holes in 1/8 inch steel, after 3 holes, the entire chuck/drill assembly is wobbling, flopping around like something came loose inside, couldnt even finish what I had started working on

Good tool but eats NiCad batteries fast

The job I used this for caused me to go buy Li Ion packs. I am much happier now

excellent!!!

Had this drill for over 4 years. It's an amazing value quality item. It's been left in the rain, cold and hazardous locations. It still works. I work with several electrical contractors. One of them got a Makita Ion Lithium drill that costs more then twice the price of this Crafstman hammer drill. Two of his batteries died before one of mine did. He had to use my drill and was impressed with it's durability and power. This drill can go through concrete and brick like it's butter. Don't waste your money on a Dewalt, Bosch or a Makita, Craftsman is much more reliable, lighter, and longer lasting. Price-wise and durability wise Craftsman can't be beat.

Durable, Powerful, Versatile. A good drill to have at your disposal!

I have owned this drill for over 5 years, and it is still going strong. I would consider myself a moderate DIYer, and this drill has been with me on every project over that time. It is powerful, and with the keyless chuck, adjusting torque settings, as well as being able to switch between hammer, driving and drilling modes this drill easily can replace two or three different drills, all in one. Only two items I can complain about are cosmetic. The rubberized grip wears down after some use, and the keyless chuck, since it is metal (not plastic, which is more of plus than a problem), has a tendency to rust, but only on the surface. Once again, only cosmetic, and easily fixed.
