Glad to see that some things are still USA made

I went to Sears and purchased this hammer because I was looking for a good quality USA made tool that had a forever guarantee and Craftsman delivers.  I did notice, however, that many of their tools are not being made in China and this was discouraging.

More than just a hammer!

The reason I like this hammer so much as to give it a five star rating is that it is a lifetime guarantee. But also it is the only hammer that I know of that has a "tooth" at the end of the one claws. This beautiful "tooth" is excellent for pulling out staples in pallets that I recycle. It comes in 16 oz and 18 oz for your information but is the same price. Sometimes it is on sale too. It really works well.

My first tool

I've owned this hammer since 1971. The rubber grip is completely intact, the fiberglass is in perfect shape. I'll end upgiving it to my grandson.

Great hammer! Strong enough to be around for a life time.  Just enough weight for a good swing.

I ordered online this hammer Item # 00938126000P Model # 38126 but for unknown reason I have received the wooden handle hammer Item# 00938045000P Model# 38045. They are similar hammer with different handle. it is great hammer. well balance and the steel is great. no nicks, chips or deep scratch after using it on hard surface.
