Great mower, very modern and convenient!

Self-wash, just hook up a hose and turn it on. So easy to start a 2 year old could do it! Starts first time every time. Well made. Many options: rear bagger, side blowout, or mulch. 6 height settings, easy to set and only have to set on one side. Comes with oil, on and on I could go

sears does not stand behind Zero not an option

lawnmower worked the first time them began running erratic called sears. there solution was to bring it to them 150 miles round trip leave it and come back at a later time . they would rebuild the carb maybe at my cost. used 1 time I have to drive 300 plus mile and maybe pay for repairs. cheaper to buy another one somewhere else which I will do done with sears there washers are junk also.

Very Reliable Product for the length of time owned

I have owned and abused this mower for a number of years and it has functioned flawlessly until I finally did a number on it. I went to the local Sears store where I had purchased it from and could not believe the customer service that I received from them! I ended up re-purchasing the same mower because of their customer service and ownership of MY issue. I cant say enough about the Sears warranty and their backing of it, its incredible. BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY, you wont be disappointed unless you don't have any problems!!

Craftsman 21" 190CC Briggs Ready Start Push Mower - Very Nice! Easy Start

I bought this lawn mower about a week or 2 ago to replace a self propelled mower I had for about 2 years that was having problems with the self propel mechanism. This mower right out of the box was very easy to assemble, just put the handles together and pull them out of the base of the deck and put in the securing bolts. I added the oil supplied with the engine, filled it with 89 octane stabilized gasoline and it fired up on the first pull and ran beautifully. The bag was very easy to assemble, you just clip it to the frame and it attaches to the deck with the molded plastic on the deck. I also undercoated the mower deck with non stick cooking spray, and I do so about once a year to help prevent rust. I mowed my yard with it which takes about 20 minutes and it didn't miss a beat, it was very easy to push and maneuver with the high rear wheels. It didn't even bog down once and had more than adequate power to get through some decently thick grass. My old mower had this same engine and deck and I never had a problem with it which was why I went with it again. For the money I would definitely recommend this mower to anyone, Briggs has been making this engine series for over 20 years so that says something about how well they last. Overall it's a great mower for the low price, I got mine on sale for $215 in store. Sears was great about helping load it in my car as well which I appreciated. Buy this mower, you will be glad you did if you take the proper precautions to keep the gas fresh and change the oil, spark plug and air filter regularly and it should last you a long time.

JUNK

BOUGHT TWO OF THEM, BOTH ARE JUNK. GOOD THING I BOUGHT THE WARRANTY. ONE HAS BEEN SENT IN THREE TIMES AND IT STILL DOESN'T RUN RIGHT. THE OTHER ONE I USED IT FOR ABOUT 15MINS., THE NEXT TIME IT WOULD NOT START. NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH THIS SEARS MOWER. QUALITY IS NO GOOD AND IS JUST TWO LAWN MOWERS THAT IS JUNK.

Lasted One Season, POS

Bought this after having thoroughly doing my research, it's a piece of $hit. After one season of use, it refuses to start just sputters and dies. The bag fills up in no time, the cut often uneven and this might be attributed to the cheap plastic mechanism attempting to hold the front wheels in place ;-(... never again sears.... I'll have better luck on craigslist.

hgreat mower and easy start for the lady of the house

The mower pull starts nice and easy so my daugter can use it to mow her lawn and not need anyone to start it for her. It does a good job cutting and bagging the grass.

A Great Lawn Mower

After 15 years, my old Craftsman has seen better days. I naturally went to Sears to buy a new one and decided on this particular model. Perhaps the best part is the engine which starts quickly and has plenty of power. My lawn look great! Very good product at a great price! I expect it to last for as many or more years!

great mower

this thing is a beast. we bought a house in june and it was empty since oct...needless to say the grass was overgrown. this baby chugged right thru and it always starts on one pull. the wheels felt a lil sketchy (quality wise) at first but they lasted so far. i like the mulch, bag, and side shoot option...plus it has plenty of mower hghts.

Great mower

Easy minor assembly. Starts first pull. Powerful engine is quiet and does not bog down. You can mulch, side discharge or bag. Easy wheel height adjustment. Larger and wider wheels than the cheap "bargain" mowers which make the mower stay higher on the lawn and easier to push. I love this mower and have no complaints. It was well worth the extra money. I got what I paid for and it is far superior to the cheap mowers. This is the best push mower that I've ever owned. It cuts as nice as my tractor.

Good Buying experience

I recently purchased a reconditioned Craftsman 190cc Briggs and Stratton Engine, High Wheel, Rear Bag, Push Mower. The salesperson was very helpful during the purchase. He explained the condition of the mower as it relates to the reconditioning. He was not pushy, and allowed my wife and I to take the time we needed to make our decision. I have been extremely pleased with the mower. It is very light to push and does a great job trimming.

Votes are in----just another low quality product

If you would like to take $250+/- of your hard earned money and shred it to little pieces and flush it down the toilet this would be the mower for you. Everyone is right. mower fouls plugs often, doesn't run real well, the one sided adjustmant made of plastic and flimsy sheet metal is a joke, and wear protection if you have the bag on the seal isn't great and maybe a few things get by, you know the occasional ROCK! If you have 200square feet of city sod thats flat im sure it works great, but those of us that have lawns that take time to mow and dont like being ripped off will go to the pawn shop and for 20$ will get a real mower with real metal and a real motor.

Terribly unreliable engine

Purchased three seasons ago.In and out of shop ever since, because it either won't start or engine speed fluctuates wildly.

Sorry mower only started one time after more than a dozen pulls.

Internet is full of no start for this mower. I returned it as wife made one pass for 10 feet and stopped to get drink and it would not crank again. I have had many sears mowers over the last 40 years and all cranked on first pull.

Front wheels don't maintain cut height

The front wheels have a single height adjustment mechanism.

It doesn't maintain its setting. I just spent 20 minutes figuring out how to tie a rope around the front wheels and over the height mechanism's handle with the hope it would stay where I set it.

It's a poor design and should be replaced with a better system. ****, the old system was better.
