Craftsman 25cc gas blower is the BEST

This Craftsman blower is the best!  It is very Powerful and moves stuff with a pull of the trigger!  I have never had any problems starting this craftsman blower.  I thought I would only use it a few times a year but I was wrong I use it everytime I do yardwork.  Its great for the grass clipping on the sidewalk.  I love it so much I would (If I could) dust my inside with it.  NO CONS from me!

Craftsman Gas Blower

Purchased the blower 7179477 Feb. 18 2012. Today is June 23 2012 and the re-coil is broken. I used the blower maybe 20-25 times during this time. I also purchased the extended warranty because the salesman told me that no matter what happened to the unit I could bring it in and get a replacement free of charge. When I took the blower back they told me that they have to send it out to the repair center and if it's not cost efficient they will replace it, if not it will be repaired in a couple weeks. I have purchased numerous Sears/Craftsman products, but after the service I received tonight I will never walk into a Sears store again.

Good Heavy Duty Blower

|

Easy to start blower
Vac/Chipper works like a champ
Has a good price
I used the craftsmen premixed fuel, which i recommend so you dont have to worry about mixing your own fuel and oil.

Great blower

|

Bought this blower to make cleaning up the leaves easier and it works great. Started up right away and got the job done in no time. We live in the country and have a large yard with quit a few trees and this blower made the job a lot easier. Easy to handle and doesn't way a ton to carry around. I would recommend this product.

Ridiculous! You are better off with another brand.

|

Just bought this, along with a can of the pre-mixed fuel. Followed all of the instructions and it WILL NOT START. Seriously? Now I can spend what little time I have to deal with fall clean up returning this unit and finding another. Another thing, why does the box say 'Heavy Duty', then the manual lists it as 'Medium Duty', rated for 50 hours? I'm taking this back and purchasing the Husqvarna I originally wanted. Two years ago, I sprung for a Craftsman push vac to do this job and found it to be similarly useless. Never again Craftsman!!

hope this one works and lasts longer than first one

|

this is my second sears blower. I have to be honest, the first one I was totally disappointed in. the rope would continuously not recoil. and it won't even start after only two years. hope this one does better. so far it has been far superior of the first one.

I had this same blower for over 2 years and it does what I need very well.

|

The blower had to be replaced due to damage that was cause by how my family used the blower.

Good leaf blower!

|

Starts well, blows well, vacuum bag fairly small for bigger jobs. Loud but I guess they all are. All in all quite happy with it!

Great leaf blower/ vac is alright

|

I bought this blower/vac since my other one was 12 years old and wasnt working the best. The blower is easy to start and has great power but the vac isn't the easiest to use.

great blower vac

|

It starts right up, easy to use and clean, attachments fit perfectly, it is nice to have both the blower and vac options on one unit. Well made and price was reasonable when I bought it online.

Dependable by a name you can trust

|

Our first craftsman blower lasted us 9 1/2 years so we didn't hesitate to buy the same brand and kind again. We feel we can depend on the brand us well as confidence they can back their products if we have anything that goes wrong. Good value at a good price.

Not worth the time

|

I recently retired a 15 yr old 2-cycle Craftsman leaf blower as it was becoming less effective. The purchase of the new one should have been uncomplicated. Very disappointed in the operation of the unit and the steps to get it to get it repaired. The unit performed flawlessly for 2 months of weekly operation (30 minutes/wk for 8 wks = 4 hours total run time). The unit was diagnosed with a mechanical breakdown in the flywheel assembly. Upon redelivery, the unit failed to start upon its very first attempt. Technicians believe there is an oil/gas ratio issue that I have disputed and they will not honor warranty. The unit was filled with the same gasoline mixture as when it was first purchased. This is the same mixture (oil supplied in the box) that has run in the blower from purchase date until the moment it failed to start. What surprised me was the clerk who took it back for the 2nd time repair was not surprised at all. I would not recommend this product.

If you buy something and it has a 2year guarantee and you buy the extra guarantee for 3 years would that be a 5 year guarantee? I was told that!!

No. The 2 years that come with the blower is a limited manufacturer warranty. The 3 year protection agreement starts from the date of purchase and covers far more than the manufacturer's warranty. Example - ethanol damage is not covered by manufacturer's warranty but is covered by the 3 year repair protection plan.
