This Craftsman blower is the best! It is very Powerful and moves stuff with a pull of the trigger! I have never had any problems starting this craftsman blower. I thought I would only use it a few times a year but I was wrong I use it everytime I do yardwork. Its great for the grass clipping on the sidewalk. I love it so much I would (If I could) dust my inside with it. NO CONS from me!
Quit after 10 months of light use. Sears repair center said the scored cylinder was a maintenance issue and wasn't covered under the "full 2 year warranty", and wanted $100 to repair it. Never used any gas except the expensive premixed gas bought at Sears. Cleaned the air filter every time I used it instead of the required every 5 hours. Not worth 50 cents. I have a 25 year old Mantis tiller, an 18 year old Weed Eater, and a 12 year old ********** weedcutter that all still work fine. The Craftsman name no longer means what it once did. Will never buy anything else with Sears, or Craftsman on it
This leaf blower is the 2nd one I have owned. The first one would not start after 3 months light use. Sears replaced it and the one I have now works fine. It is very strong and not too heavy which is a plus.
Great item. Works great. Starts easy, runs great, easy to use, light weight. I really enjoy using this product.
Best of all, I caught it ON SALE! I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS PRODUCT!
Purchasing to replace a Sears shredder vac that was happy with, but wanted upgrade. Purchased this model that was being phased out because liked the specs and features. Took this unit home and found that the gas tank leaked when tilted as you need to do when using as vac. Returned for refund.
We purchased this blower/sweeper for our rock gardens but it sweeps the stones into the motor so not so sure about it. Maybe they are all that strong. We need to experiment with it to tweak it & hoping it does the job we are wanting.
My husband was beginning to lament the encroaching fall weather phenomena of falling leaves. He hates leaves on the patio, driveway, sidewalks, etc. I decided this was the year he would be getting a leaf blower for his birthday rather than a new broom lol. When he opened the gift it was like I gave him a million dollars! He ran right out and started using it. It started up with no problems and he blew all the dirt and grass clippings off previously mentioned surfaces in no time flat. He is thrilled with it.
This is something my husband has been wanting a long time. I saw the special price and with shop my way rewards and promotional codes and ************* to my door I just couldnt resist. Great item very useful to clean up your yard,
Wouldn't buy it again. Junk. It died after two seasons and I maintain my products to factory standards. Very well taken care of.
This gas powered blower/vacuum is powerful and easy to use.
Easy to handle
Very hard to start after initial use. Not Happy. returning for a easy start 4 cycle back pack
This leaf blower is not a single pull start kind of blower but it starts O.K. three or four pulls at most, air speed is 215 MPH and it works good to blow off porches and walks. I just bought it so I have not had the occasion to blow leaves with it, and I usually use my riding lawnmower to pick up leaves, it works well for what I bought it for, to keep porches and walks cleaned up. We live in an ag area so it's dusty and the leaf blower works well to blow dust off the house, along with spiders and other nuisance insects. All in all, it works well for what I bought it for, I pleased with my purchase. I?d recommend it to family and friends, bought it on clearance, used surprise points and bought it with tax for less than $100.00, thanks Sears.
We've only had our leaf blower for a few weeks, but it's done its job well. It's easy to start and easy to use.
I got this for my dad as an early father's day present, he really needed a new one and he just loves this one I got him, he's been using it every weekend and told me he just loves it and hasn't had any problems with it
VERY POWERFUL AND WILL TACKLE ALMOST ANY JOB - VERY SATISFIED
I've owned this unit now for the 4th season. Starts reliably on the third pull all the time. However, the claim is that it puts out 215MPH at 470 CFM. That can't be real. I sometimes have trouble just moving grass off the driveway and when it does, it doesn't go far. Many backpack versions have similar or even less impressive specs that will blow (no pun intended) this model away. Did I say it was noisy? While rated at 69 dB at full speed, it is a very shrill noise. My much older Craftsman blower was much quieter and worked a heck of a lot better.
The characteristic of this blower that is most pleasing is: it starts all the time and does a good job of removing debris.
I bought t one 5 years ago. The price was reasonable, about the same as the current price. It has always been extremely hard to start, even for a someone with a lot of 2-stroke small engines experience. If you can get it to start, then it does a nice job of blowing leaves and other debris from a lawn. The vacuum feature is okay for very small jobs, but don't buy this machine to use primarily as a leaf vacuum.
The fuel tank is poorly designed, as it will leak fuel out through a hole in the cap when the tank is more than 1/2 full and you are holding the blower in a normal operating position. A few weeks ago, after some difficulty we got it to start and used it for about 1 hour. This weekend, it will not start, even though it has good compression, fresh fuel, a clean air filter and spark arrestor, and plenty of spark. Quite disappointing. But at under $160 in price, it is hardly worth taking to Sears or a small engines shop. So, I need to decide if I just buy a new one of these, or buy another, higher quality brand.
I would only recommend this blower model to a friend who wanted to get something low cost for one or two uses. It is far too difficult to start and unreliable for someone seeking to use it frequently.
Vacuum bag ripped at the top after 1 day of use, does a good job still, just wish the bag was better quality.
