Caution , do not buy

Service center did not honor warranty , because it had a different compatible sparkplug, so I got 3 months of use and now its useless because they will not honor the warranty even though it had nothing to do with the sparkplug, do not buy

Nice Blower

I bought one of these in the Summer of 2010 to replace an older Craftsman blower/vac. It still runs great in 2014. I replaced the spark plug last year and used an E3 plug instead of a Champion. It start easy and runs better then the original Champion plug. It still runs great. I have not tried the Vac feature. In my opinion, based on my previous Craftsman blower/vac, this shortens the life of the blower.

Overall this unit is best used for light duty clean up.

This hand held gas blower is well designed. The balance and weight is just right for light duty cleaning of sidewalk and driveway surfaces. When cold starting the unit press the primer bulb (6) times first. Put the choke lever on ‘Full’. Pull the starter rope holding the throttle trigger fully open. The unit should attempt to start within (5) pulls. Once the engine starts it might stall out or just pop a couple times. Move the choke lever to ‘Halve Choke’ hold the throttle trigger wide open and pull the starter rope. Once the engine starts let it run about (10) seconds then use the throttle trigger to increase the idle speed. Sometimes I use the unit on ‘Halve Choke’ until it fully warms up to operating temperature. Then move the choke lever to ‘Run’. The performance is adequate. Sometimes it can become problematic when the throttle is used fully open. This seems to lean out the engine too much resulting in loss of power and R.P.M. Easing up on the throttle works the best.
