Craftsman 25cc gas blower is the BEST

This Craftsman blower is the best!  It is very Powerful and moves stuff with a pull of the trigger!  I have never had any problems starting this craftsman blower.  I thought I would only use it a few times a year but I was wrong I use it everytime I do yardwork.  Its great for the grass clipping on the sidewalk.  I love it so much I would (If I could) dust my inside with it.  NO CONS from me!

Craftsman Gas Blower

Purchased the blower 7179477 Feb. 18 2012. Today is June 23 2012 and the re-coil is broken. I used the blower maybe 20-25 times during this time. I also purchased the extended warranty because the salesman told me that no matter what happened to the unit I could bring it in and get a replacement free of charge. When I took the blower back they told me that they have to send it out to the repair center and if it's not cost efficient they will replace it, if not it will be repaired in a couple weeks. I have purchased numerous Sears/Craftsman products, but after the service I received tonight I will never walk into a Sears store again.

great blower

|

This is my third blower (same model). All are powerful and work very well for a hand-held unit. I put one in each hand for leaves and create a vortex of leaves blowing where I want to send them...

Great buy

|

We purchased this blower/vac at the end of raking season. We have lots of big trees and the leaves take forever to rake. My yard has never looked so good. This device is lightweight, easy to use and was well priced.

Soso blower.

|

Once you got this blower started it seems to work pretty good. the problem is getting it started. One time you use it ,it will start in a reasonable amount of time. Then when you go to use it again it just doesn't want to fire up. Once you do get it started I'd say it works about average to just above average. Maybe it's just the one I got that's hard to start, I don't know. In any case if you do buy one maybe you'll have better luck with yours than I've had. Good luck.

Easy start and powerful blower.

|

This blower is very powerful. It will move gravel and mulch, so be careful where you point it. Heavy vibration, but that is normal for a 2 cycle engine. My only complaint is thar the blower does not feel balanced in your hands. You will have to manhandle it a bit. .

Great blower, vac good use some adjustments

|

Great leaf blower. The vac function works well, but the bag is difficult to empty. Got Toro hose attachment and use Toro bag and now like using the unit.

My husband is delighted with its performance! It started right up with no problems. The power was GREAT both blowing and picking up. He can't wait to use it again.

good blower, nice power

|

my previous gas blower went out after around 10 years of use. i purchased a 40v battery operated one (trying to be environmentally conscious), but didn't like it's power. i purchased this blower because my previous gas blower was a craftsman. so far so good - here's to hopefully another 10 years.

Waste of Time and Money

|

I purchased this machine the first week of October after my back pack blower went down. The idea was that this machine would get me through to the end of this season and then serve as a solid 2nd piece for one of my sons to use and give me a hand next year and the years to come. Fail.

The machine had a 30 day return policy.

Here I am 40 days after the date of purchase looking to do a quick clean up while everything is dry and easy to move and manage before the rain tonight and the thing won't start. Good fuel, good spark, used MAYBE 6 dates in the last 40 days and the machine won't start. Shame on me, I guess. I should have returned it 2 or 3 weeks ago when it was difficult to restart on a warm engine (literally took me 10 minutes one time).

I used to swear by Craftsman machines and my shed/garage has traditionally been exclusively Craftsman over the past 25 years... Lawn tractor, push mower, trimmer, edger, tiller, mini-tiller, chipper/shredder, etc... and at that, as a machine eventually needed to be replaced as it was more cost effective than repair, it was replaced with another Craftsman. Unfortunately, after a lawn tractor replacement purchase last year and now this, I have noticed a big drop off in Craftsman quality.

This blower will ultimately be the last piece of Craftsman equipment that I will have wasted my money on.

Good Heavy Duty Blower

|

Easy to start blower
Vac/Chipper works like a champ
Has a good price
I used the craftsmen premixed fuel, which i recommend so you dont have to worry about mixing your own fuel and oil.

Great blower

|

Bought this blower to make cleaning up the leaves easier and it works great. Started up right away and got the job done in no time. We live in the country and have a large yard with quit a few trees and this blower made the job a lot easier. Easy to handle and doesn't way a ton to carry around. I would recommend this product.

Ridiculous! You are better off with another brand.

|

Just bought this, along with a can of the pre-mixed fuel. Followed all of the instructions and it WILL NOT START. Seriously? Now I can spend what little time I have to deal with fall clean up returning this unit and finding another. Another thing, why does the box say 'Heavy Duty', then the manual lists it as 'Medium Duty', rated for 50 hours? I'm taking this back and purchasing the Husqvarna I originally wanted. Two years ago, I sprung for a Craftsman push vac to do this job and found it to be similarly useless. Never again Craftsman!!

hope this one works and lasts longer than first one

|

this is my second sears blower. I have to be honest, the first one I was totally disappointed in. the rope would continuously not recoil. and it won't even start after only two years. hope this one does better. so far it has been far superior of the first one.

If you buy something and it has a 2year guarantee and you buy the extra guarantee for 3 years would that be a 5 year guarantee? I was told that!!

No. The 2 years that come with the blower is a limited manufacturer warranty. The 3 year protection agreement starts from the date of purchase and covers far more than the manufacturer's warranty. Example - ethanol damage is not covered by manufacturer's warranty but is covered by the 3 year repair protection plan.
