Good Value at 1/2 Price

It is rated at 30 lb per drawer, which it accomplishes. If you want a heavier box spend the extra money and get the one rated at 75 lb per drawer. It all depends on how heavy and how many tools you want to put in a drawer.

weak drawers

low price but too weak to hold hammers and other heavier tools

DONT BUY

I own several craftsman tool boxes. I read all of the bad reviews and still decided to purchase because the price was too cheap to pass up. I planned on using it only in my shed for yard hand tools and sprinkler maintenance. Upon opening I started having regrets.... very cheap, TOO thin gauge sheet metal for box and drawer slides suck. I poured my box of pvc fittings in bottom drawer and aparently exceeded the 30lbs compacity because the drawer fell off. Get the heavy duty or go to **********.

Christmas gift for my boyfriend

This drawer is great and has plenty of space for larger tools such as hand grinders and drills. Heavy duty as well. For others out there, it is easier to take out the bottom drawer first and put on the wheels. Haha.

Great Drawer

Used as part of the 3 tier tool chest. It's a little hard to move around when its fully loaded with two other chests on top but I dont need to move my tools around that much.

Great Fathers Day

What a great Fathers Day gift. My tools have been scattered throughout the house for years and now I finally have my own spot to keep everything at hand and organized. Sears has always been my go to place for tools.

Average

The tool chest is average and you get what you pay for. If you want something more heavy duty, you have to pay for it.

Does the job for less

Yeah, the drawers are kinda flimsy. But the weight rating on this one is only 30# max. If you want heavier duty, you have to get one of the better units for more money. Considering the competition's cheapest model is nearly 50% more than this one, it's a bargain.

For a basic roll-around storage cabinet, it's nice. Casters are large and stable, meaning it won't tip over at the slightest nudge. It would be nice to have some sort of handle on the end, but hey, that's why it's cheap. They even include a mat for the top; the competition charges extra for that.

Bottom line: basic starter tool cabinet at a rock bottom price.

Compared to Craftsman Heavy Duty unit this is average.

I purchased one of these because the price was very tempting. I'm actually thinking of returning it for the Heavy Duty unit only because I like the extra weight capacity in the drawers and overall load bearing for additional stacking of tool chests. For some this is a great unit and constructed well with decent casters. Easy to assemble and as long as you keep in mind that it is standard duty, you will get a decent value.

Could do better for the money...

I purchased this toolbox at close to 50% off retail, which from my perspective now seems like an appropriate full retail price; perhaps a tad high even yet.

There were no cosmetic blemishes and assembly (installing the wheels) was uneventful. I gave it 4 stars because it is what it is: lightweight, and a bit flimsy. Nobody to blame for the purchase but me.

Pulling the drawers one-handed from the center, they will wiggle open every time no matter the weight of the contents.

For the money, one can do better to shop around. This toolbox in my opinion will make you wish you had held off a bit longer and checked out a few more retailers

Good for light household use

This purchase was not suitable for my needs. It is very light weight dents easily and will not support the weight of hand tools when all drawers are used. I returned this cabinet spent the extra money and bought the Heavy Duty model. the Heavy Duty model is capable of being filled with tools and not collapsing.

AWESOME

I got this for my small tool collection and I found myself trying to fill it. I now have a very healthy tool collection and the set handles it all nicely built and very sturdy no problems at all I love this set.

Lots of storage

The rollers were easy to attach and the drawers provide lots of storage space in a very convenient space.
