Very tough

I have beat these cutters up and they still work. I have cut MIG wire, 1/8" welding rod, and cleaned the nozzles of MIG stingers, they still are very sharp, and are very tough.

Good set of cutting pliers

Just used them for the first time. Cut right through hard ABS plastic with no problems. Grip is nice.

Suspected Quality Control Issue

I was very disappointed to receive a Craftsman product in this condition. The rubber coating on these wire cutting pliers has been left with little nipples jutting from the bottom of both handles. If these nubs break off or if I were to cut them off the coating would be ruined and I'd expect it to completely peel off in no time.
