Craftsman stool is a must-have for everyone with a work bench

I bought this Craftsman hydrolic stool for my workbench and I love it.  It was easy to assemble, looks good and has a very solid base.  Oh and confortable.  The hydrolic seat moves up or down for the perfect level for your needs.  The back rest is confortable as well when you need to sit back and think a minute.  For the price I dont think you can find anything better.  If you have an uneven floor it has ajusters on the butom to make it level.  It also comes in different colors but black was the one I needed.

Looks are not everything

This chair always looked good in the store and the ads so I got one last Christmas. Its really not a very well built stool but for the price I expected that. The problem is the stool is not comfortable. The seat cushion sort of goes flat when you set on it like its full of air. The tiny little back rest offered no support but did help keep you from falling off the back when you set. Not rolling, not mobile became a problem quckly. I seldom set in mine and sold it a couple of months ago. It still looked good, never hardly set on it. But as we know, looks are only skin deep.

Great seat for work bench.

Comfortable enough but wish it had a bit more padding.

Decent Features but overall poor item

Assembly was fairly easy, However I started using it and the more I sat on it the more uncomfortable it was. I am well under the 300 pound weight restriction however I feel like there is nowhere near enough padding on this. Definitely not something you can sit in for even an hour without feeling sore.

Great purchase

These are awesome. They are comfortable and sturdy, they match the craftsman pub table I purchased online. Just perfect to sit in the garage and eat some quick lunch or a snack.

Extra Tools Required

This is an excellent seat for my woodworking shop.  Assembly with the tools provided was impossible for me.  The wrench/socket needed is a 3/8".  It does swivel, which is not stated on the box but might be intuitively obvious to the most casual observer, but not to this old man.  I like the adjustable heights; however, th seat back only has two possible settings and NOT "from 9.6-In To 11.2-In" as stated on the box.  You only get one or the other, not the full range as implied.

Don't do it

I received this for a gift a while back. I was setting up my mancave in my garage, building a workbench, organizing things and putting up my neon signs. My sister bought this stool for me to both use, and to promote what used to be good quality.
Within about 3.5 months, I began feeling dizzy and off-balance when I'd sit for a period at the workbench. Thought it was my senility kicking or, or maybe somebody was fracking next door and I didn't hear it.
Alas, it was the stools workmanship. Somehow it has settled in to an uneven rotation on the seat. The legs sit firmly, but depending on how you sit on it, you're either sitting slanted down, or, slanted up! It's definitely enough that you can feel and tell that you're not horizontal at any point.
If you have kids or grandkids that you'd get a kick out of making sick, just plop them down on the stool and give it a twirl. Worse than a good drunk on a bad merry-go-round.
It's too late to return, so I donated it at Goodwill. Maybe they can use it for parts.

Great Stool

As advertised, this stool is a great value and fairly comfortable. I got it on sale and it's a nice addition to my garage when I need a break or want to sit down for a project. Adjustable too.

Love this stool

This was something that my mom really wanted for her birthday. She loves it! The ability to adjust the height is great. And it is sturdy.

Best workbench stool

Great buy for in the garage at your workbench. Very sturdy and well built. The hydraulic adjustment is a great feature. Will adjust to your likings for your workbench height. For what you pay for hydraulic stools can be very expensive. This stool is very comfortable with the vinyl seat. The price is excellent for this stool.

Horrible quality!!

We bought these stools about 6 months ago and they are of very poor quality. We have always had to tighten all screws daily to keep from falling over in them. It's not one of them, it's all of them. The cushions have gone flat and have very little padding in them. We are going to return them. They are not built Craftsman tough.

What an awesome stool!

I love this stool. It is a great man cave stool. The seat is so comfy and it looks great too! The price was great and the shipping was super fast. I would say this would make a great gift for any man or woman cave.

Easy to Assemble

The stool is taller than a regular chair which makes it the perfect height for sitting at while I'm at my workbench.
