Quickly Load Mowers and ATVs With Craftsman Loading Ramps
Whether you're heading to the next landscaping job or getting ready for a weekend off-road adventure, the black Ohio Steel lawn mower loading ramp make it easier to riding mowers or ATVs onto the bed of a pick-up truck or trailer. The ramps are constructed of solid steel for outstanding, rugged performance day in and out. Each ramp is capable of supporting up to 1,000 pounds for a combined weight capacity of 2,000 pounds. The set includes two cam buckle straps for secure loading of your vehicle, helping keep the ramps secure and locked in place — even under heavy loads.
The Ohio Steel loading ramps have punched tread patterns that provide excellent traction during loading and unloading. The tread pattern gives tires a rougher surface to grip on to and avoid slipping and sliding. The 12 inch wide ramps accommodate a wide range of tire sizes, so you can use the same set for different landscaping equipment. The folding ramps take up less space during transport. And they have a patented arch design to provide a safer slope that flattens out the further you go up.

  • Load heavy equipment into the bed of a pick-up truck or trailer with less effort
  • Heavy-duty steel construction is built to last

Excellent produce

These ramps are a good value. They are sturdy and will do anything anyone would want. I would recommend them to anyone.

Not capable of rated load

Ramp fingers bent while loading 1500 lb tractor.  Suppose to carry up 2000 lb distributed load. Suprised they weren't recalled.  Noticed that the latest production has heavier fingers, but Sears is exposed to lawsuits due to not recalling the ones with thin fingers.

Good ramps.

These work fine to load my tractor on to my trailer. Steel is definately heavier than the aluminum ones! If they are something you will use everyday either get the aluminum or you will get buff like Popeye!

Ramps

Heavy compared to the aluminum, but sturdy. It's nice that they fold so that they take less space. A draw back is the sharpness of the traction holes in the ramps. A grinder should be on hand when you take them out of the box and definitely be careful. As for usefulness, they'll handle anything I'll put on them.

Heavy duty but they are heavy and bulky to lift

These ramps work very well for loading items into the back of a truck - but one concern was the straps they give you so that they do not move while loading..worthless, they let go two times while trying to load my 46" Craftsman Lawn tractor into the back of my truck causing me to slide off the side of the ramps. They can handle a lot of weight but wish I spent the extra money on the less heavy ones. They can be cumbersome to load and unload after loading a snow blower or other larger lawn items on a daily basis. If you are looking for daily use ramps with heavy duty capabilities - look at the aluminum craftsman ramps

Sears best ramp set is your best deal!

Constructed of 14ga. steel compared to other sets made of 16ga. or aluminum. Heavier duty hardware, locknuts, and saftey straps assure dependable, safe ramping for loads up to 2000 lbs. (1000 lbs. per ramp). Both ramps come unassembled in one (65lbs.) box with easy to read assembly instructions. I assembled mine in 30 mins. with simple hand tools. Ramps fold in half for easy storage. These are not the most expensive you can buy; they are simply the heaviest duty ramps you can buy for the best price!

Good Ramps Just What I Needed

They are good for what I needed ramps for. I use them to load my antique hit and engines on my trailer. They will carry the weight of the engines which weigh 350 pounds each. Also will use them to load my ********** D130 lawn tractor which weighs 500 pounds to take to the shop to have it serviced. Easy to assemble the bolts with the lock nuts were a little hard to tighten so I used an impact wrench to tighten then. The anti-skid bumps are a little sharp wear gloves to protect your hands. When folding them you can pinch your fingers.

Good deal for the price.

Bought a pair for our Harley's.  While riding my girl's Sportster up one of the ramps the traction bump tore the hell out of the rear tire.  It had sprinkled and the ramp was a little wet so maybe the tire spun as I throttled up.  Just keep this in mind.

My 59 year old Mom (102lbs) put these ramps together....

I purchased these ramps middle of Aug. and my Mom assembled them, it took her quite awhile. I had an appointment and was unable to help. When we first opened the box and saw how many bolts, nuts and washers there were we just looked at each other.  I had a friend torque them just to make sure everything was tight.  I also purchased a garden tractor at the same time, that's why I needed the ramps.  The steel ramps would have been too heavy.  I will write a review on the garden tractor after the fire season is over.  We were able to unload the tractor off my Toyota Tundra with no problem. I have already recommended these ramps to co-workers. I am very pleased with this product.

Amazing piece of metal

I picked up a pair 14 gauge steel folding loading ramps.  Model number 610.24690.  One thousand pound capacity for a single ramp, two thousand pound capacity for using both ramps.  They are not the most expensive, also they are not the least expensive.  After weeks of widow shopping and homework, because I know my old ones were going to bite the dust, I decided on these for a few reasons.  Price, durability, and storage.  Excellent price point, heavy metal (not Ozzy), and they fold in half for easy storage.  The front page of the manual states that you should wear gloves when working with these, you do not have to, but I would.  It makes it a lot easier to work with.  The manual also states that you should use cardboard when putting the together, I just put them in the grass and did not have a problem.  Assembly took all of twenty minutes, very simple, but you should use the manual as it warns it may take more time to put together.  What I like about this style ramp is that it has extensions on it so it is very easy to hook to the tailgate, trailer or whatever else you might be using these for.  The loading ramps come with two bungee cords which is an added bonus, you can never have enough bungee chords!!!

Buy these, not the steel ones

these are great ramps. Exactly the same as the black steel ones, but are much lighter. They take a little longer to build, but both ramps weigh less than one of the black steel ones.
