Craftsman Nextec 12.0 Volt Multi-tool is good tool.

The multi tool is an excellent tool for trimming away siding to install window brick moulding. It is also an excellent tool in the trimming and cutting of drywall. It creates very little dust, is lightweight, and compact. The only draw back is it is very awkward to change attachments. You have to try to hold the attachment, screw in the holding screw, and use the allen wrench to tighten all in one motion. It can get very frustrating. Wish there was an easier way to change attachments. Otherwise it is a very versatile tool. Would recommend it to everyone.

Multi Tool

It only works for some projects, it's not meant for cutting any type of hard metals, it willm bind and break. Will cut wood almost like butter, great for trimming almost anything but steel, iron. I would recomend for small projects, like drywall, wood, platics, aluminum.

Great multi-use tool

This tool allowed me to do all sorts of small cutting and scrapping tasks around the house. Because I have other tools with Nextec batteries, I am able to be ready at any time to do everything from trimming small branches to releasing a sink from a vanity. All I had to do was change the blade for the job.

Love My Nextec Tools

I have the Multi-Tool and the Right Angle Impact Drill. They are solidly built and powerful. The battery lasts and lasts, then charges quickly.

Took a little time...

It has taken a little time to master the use and various adaptations to resolve cutting and sanding tasks. As I got better with the use, I reach for it more often. I have a few if these and they all have their specific use. Variable speed, constant and then with different blades and angles. Much safer than any rotating blades!

A definite must have tool

This has got to be one of the most used tools I own now. I don't know what I did without it. I had my doubts about the durability and lifespan of the battery along with the power for only being a 12 volt but I have to say it more than surprised me. It has very decent battery life and has all the power you will need. With all the attachments that are available it is truly a must have tool for your toolbox.

Battery won't stay in the tool anymore

I bought this tool a few years ago, but didn't use it very much until after the warranty was expired. When I needed it at one point for an outdoors job, I found that the tabs holding the battery in the tool were broken. I had wondered during previous uses why the battery wouldn't stay in, not realizing it was broken.

Multi Tool

For the money it is a great tool to have in your tool bag. It does a good job for small task that a corroded tool is not needed for. Saves time not having a long extension cord to haul around.

Great tool!

This is a great little tool that you can usually get your hands on for a great price. Remember this is a cordless tool and it is not meant to do the work that a corded tool can do. If you use it for it's intended purpose, you won't be disappointed!

Great little multi tool

Got this in a combo kit and am very glad I did. I already had a corded one and it was very noisy and therefore did not use it very often. This one is no where near as noisy which is awesome. I use it frequently and it is a great little saw. I love the quick boost for it because that means it is not down for hours recharging. All in all a great little multi tool.

Handiest tool in my shop.

This is one of the handiest tools I have ever had. I have cut notches in wood with ease and aluminum sheets 10 feet long with ease. One thing I have used it for the most is to polish the aluminum on my snowmobile trailer. I use the velcro pad and put a piece of micro-fiber cloth on it with aluminum polish and it makes the job 10 times easier.
