Nailed It

This tool is not for every job that takes a nail, but it really nails tight spaces, overhead jobs and all those times when you just don't have the room to swing a hammer. Its comfortable and lightweight, powered by a small lithium ion battery. It doesn't do as well with big nails into hardwood and it can make a pretty loud clatter, but i now use ear protection with any powertool. For $99, its an awfully nice piece of technology. I've never owned or seen a tool like it.

not worth buying

I bought one yesterday to help with installation of the railings on my deck.Using 1.5" nails, it couldn't even drive one nail. I took the thing back last night. Nice concept for people like me with arthritis, but maybe rushed into production a little too soon?

It works great! Especially on Non-Metalic Cable Staples!

I bought the Hammerhead to hammer in non-metalic cable staples into joists which were overhead and in tight spaces. It worked great. Hammering overhead is a tough job and when you are working on electrical wire you don't want to miss the staple and smash the wire and nick the sheathing. The Hammerhead allows you to easily hold the plastic part of the staple in place over the wire and easily drive in the nail.

Light weight and up to the challenge

I figured this tool would be great for hanging pictures, but never figured it would drive a 16dd nail into a pressure treated 6" x 6". Great tool at a great price! I have the 12 volt drill and use it all the time. took over a year before i had to charge the battery. WELL DONE CRAFTSMAN!

Awesome, especially for hard to hammer in places

Strong and fast this little baby should be in every woman's tool box too. I bought this for my husband, he did use it under the house to secure some plumbing straps. He said it was great in hard to work places. I also used it in hard to use places where a conventional hammer would not have been very easy.

don't bother if you have larger nails.

Didnt work as well as I hoped. Does fine with smaller finish nails but doesn't have the power to drive any larger nails. Disappointed.

Very Good but get the latest model with the swivel head

Works well. The new model with the swivel head is much better but the product works as expected.

Good Power

Wow - This thing shocked me with how much power it has. I made the mistake of trying it on my finger first. I don't recommend that!I will continue to buy Nextec 12 volt power tools.
