An impact wrench on steroids.

I purchased this product, and I'll have to add that it has a lot of power. At first, I was skeptic about it because I was always going for the top name brands like Mac and Snap-on. I work in a body shop, and very often I have to remove the tires from a vehicle to repair wheel-well openings on the quarter panels and fenders. Before, I was using the MG725 Snap-on impact wrench to remove tires. I had it for over a year, until it started giving me problems, since I didn't buy it new, but used for $200.00 dollars. I wasn't going to pay close to $600.00 dollars for a new one, which I think is absurd. Instead, I came across the Craftsman Professional 1/2 impact wrench. I read the aspects on it, and as soon as I saw that it was equipped with 710 lbs of Torque, I had to get it. I tried it on a 2011 Dodge Ram Super Duty diesel truck, just for the heck of it. I was amazed that the impact wrench removed the lug nuts quickly with a 60 gallon air compressor.

bad

Bad and I don't mean good !Mechanic since 86 . I love Sears, buy there all the time. And still will , but this gun has to be the worst I have ever had. First one felt weak so I returned it,and they gave me a new one. Another year has gone by and the gun is useless .Rated at 710 lbs ,8000 rpm, ,, it spins ,,, maybe 800 now !Never really seemed to have the advertized power ! VERY disappointed in this gun .

False advertising! 711 ft lbs on what planet I ask?

711 ft lbs my ****. This thing has less power than my cordless 3/8' impact. Will not take off lug nuts, which should be no sweat for any 1/2' drive impact. When you think impact you think this is the tool that will either take it off or break it off. Again this thing can't remove normally torqued lug nuts. Basically this thing just vibrates and makes noise, that's all its good for. Take it to the recycling yard for scrap. Better yet, don't buy it at all. waste of my money. Craftsman has become garbage.

I got the power!

I had on old Husky impact wrench that was pitiful. I purchased this one with high hopes, and my prayers have been answered! This tool is great, plenty of power for those really tough jobs. I love it.

Performs like wrenches twice the price.

Otherhtan what i think was just a minor assembly snafu ( O-ring missing inside switch ) Once replaced with a new one at store. I have had nothing but great experiences with this "gun" handles all the tough jobs when i need it to.

An excellent Air Gun for the Money!

For the money this a very great product. It has tons of power and is built rather well. The first thing I have to address is that it does not have any hookups. For me this is a plus as my system uses 1/2 inlets instead of 3/8. I have used it time and time again without problems. Whether it is on our portable at 90 psi or our built in compressor at 150 psi plus, it works great and has shown no signs of deterioration. After a year of service, I believe if used properly and maintained it will provide years of service. One of the best investments I have made, as it has paid off multiple times.

The best choice

very powerful and feels lighter than my other impacts. got on sale and to me got to say is the best so far, love that i could lower the power so i don't always over-tight my nuts and bolts. i do lubricate it before every use so it last a long time... hopefully

Good Torque

I have both this and the 3/8" Professional, always work well and are good values in output torque and reliability.

Great Tool

I love this impact, I have used it to remove some very very tight/stuck nuts and bolts, and it even sounds good (deeper exhaust note lol)

Strong, fast and durable

This is a nice impact gun. I use it daily, never had it not get a bolt or nut off. Its very durable as I have dropped it once or twice and its still going strong. Have had it for a year now and love it.

Great impact wrench!

I bought this back in Feburary to use during school. I had not used it much during school, but when I started using it full time at work, it really shone. Has great torque and I love the fact that it is composite. Makes it feel light. That really comes in handy when you have the gun in your hands for a long period of time. I would not hesitate to buy this gun again if I had to.
