Very nice air ratchet wrench

Tool is very well made and will operate very slowly or fast. It als will ratchet for hand tightening to that extra tightness when required. I like it.

this ratchet is a solid performer for the price.it seems to have a good amount of torque and so far has handled everything i have wanted it to do. only time will tell its long term durability.

It works but could be better

|

First off, it is China made. With that being said, unless you buy it for a really good sale price, it isn't worth the price. Not all stuff from China is bad, but I have found that the Craftsman air tools just aren't top of the line. I knew that going into the game so I don't have a major beef with it. This particular tool lacks comfort with the trigger control. I also don't like how flimsy the trigger is. It bends rather easy. This tool isn't going to hold up if you are "drop your tool" kind of guy to get things moving quickly. And I don't suggest this for a field truck or service truck. It won't hold up to the conditions.
Overall, for a person who uses it once in a while or you plan on being gentle with it, it gets the job done. I just feel the price isn't justified. I like to know that if I drop it on accident or rough work conditions are where it will be used, it will be able to handle the unintentional abuse. I don't see that the case.

Craftsman Pro 3/8 Air Ratchet

|

Have used only Ingersol Rand (IR) air ratchets in the past. Bought this on sale and have been using it for 3+ months without any problems. Because it's the Pro series, it has a heavy duty case, seals, discs and gear head.

Works as well as the tool truck brands, and has the Sears guarantee.

Large size but good power!

|

This makes the jobs it can reach much faster. It's loud but show me one that isn't. It's bulky but that's the trade-off for the torque!

good buy for the money!!!!

|

For what you spend on this tool you really can't go wrong, RPMs are a bitter slower than i like but the torque is good. the only reason it has 4 instead of 5 stars is the trigger, i have pesronally always hated those lever triggers because the don't allow me to get into tight places while i r&r transmissions. other than that great tool.

Just Right for That Delicate Job.

|

Had this Ratchet for almost a year now, no issue to report....use when am R&R a transmission out of a honda. It's just enough torque to get by and not too much to strip any threads.

Will be in my toolbox for many years to come.

|

I have had this wrench a couple years and get to use it every so oftecn where it makes sense. It won't do everything, since some things just require a tool that can work in a tigher space. But where it works it's great. Makes the job go a lot quicker where you can use it. It's a good strong wrench and is well made. Makes the job go a lot faster and it's a great price and high quality.

I redeemed a coupon for $20 in points when you spend $100 or more in tools but I don't see where the points are and it says I did use the coupon.
