Great compared to most modern furniture

As others have stated, it's definitely a good solid wood product when compared to the mdf junk that's in most furniture you can order online with free shipping. Compared to most furniture of that sort, it's great, it's really nice looking, while still being quite easy to put together despite having good strong mortise and tenon joints and screw connections that tap into wood backers. However, it's not "solid wood," nor is it a high quality piece of woodwork. It's got alot of plywood in it, which again is great for budget furniture, but it appears that the plywood and most of the solid wood is actually fairly soft. It's made in Indonesia, which is fine. but it's a type of wood I'm not familiar with. I don't think it's the type of wood that will become antique, and it will likely dent and scratch easily over the years. It's a very simple and elegant design, though, so if you wanted to copy it with hard oak or maple for the outside pieces, it would be fairly easy. The finish job on it is fairly cheap, too, unfortunately, which I just wish was more consistent since that's most of what you see. There was a light spot on the edge of one of the drawers that can blend into the shadows for the most part, or I can touch up with a finish pen. Also, there are definitely a few pieces of mdf snuck in there in inconspicuious places that likely won't affect the strength. As long as you don't go into it expecting a work of art, it's a great piece of furniture that I would recommend spending the extra bit of money on instead of picking up something at a department store. I'm actually really impressed with the design of it, and given that I expect alot from furniture, that's a really good thing.

LOVE this dresser!

We got this for our daughter's nursery over a year ago to match a crib we had already purchased. The color is beautiful, especially when the light comes in her window. Beware that the box is VERY heavy, even for two adults to lift out of our SUV. We brought the pieces up piece by piece instead of carrying the box to our second story. It took quite awhile for my husband and I to assemble but I would do it all over again to have this dresser. It is beautiful put together and the reason we got it is because it fits our changing pad and diaper organizer side by side on top and other dressers we looked at weren't long enough. It is a great height for both my husband and I to change diapers at. We are both under 5' 7" Since our daughter isn't two yet her kid clothes fit great in the drawers. They slide open and shut very easily and the curved front side pieces are a beautiful accent. Since I anticipate her using this dresser long into her teenage years I'll be purchasing another if we prepare for a second nursery.

love it

This dresser was easy to put together and didn't take me long either. I did it buy myself and I was 8 months pregnant. Its not that heavy either. The quality is good and I love it.

Solid Wood

My husband is in carpentry and knows a good product when he sees one. He recently picked up a dresser from BBB which cost almost 600 and it was made out of partical board and a veneer* top. The Delta dresser we got for half the price was made out of solid wood!

Delta Children's Dresser 6-drawer Expresso

This dresser is pretty durable and seems that it will last quite a while. Bought a DaVinci Kalani crib, but all the reviews for their dressers were horrible, so we decided to look at the Delta dresser. It matches pretty close to the color of the crib and we are glad we went with the Delta. This was a great choice for us.

Beautiful Dresser & nice size

This dresser is a great size & will grow with the child. It's about 10" longer than most baby dressers. It matches perfectly with the espresso Delta Shelby crib. When I first ordered I had a feeling it might not match the Shelby crib we bought from ******. But it matched perfectly and can't be any closer. They are both a super dark brown w/ a hint of cherry. The cherry really shows through when the sun hits the furniture. It was super easy to put together (around an hour to assemble) and is super good quality. Make sure when you put the drawers in that they go through the slots first & then down into the guide. If you don't, they won't line up correctly, but may still function.
