I bought this DeWalt DC720IA 18 volt Cordless Compact Drill/Driver Combo Kit for my husband because he was having trouble with his wrist and thought the lighter weight (he already had the DeWalt full sized Drill) would be easier to handle. Because of his work,he needed/wanted the 18 volt power rather than the 12volt. He loves it. Starting using it Christmas Day and ever since. His old full sized batteries fit these as well. Buying the combo kit was also a really good bargain. The case was a nice addition to when he travels to a job.
Santa can bring this one for Christmas !

I wouldn't know what to do without having my Dewalt cordless drill available. I use it for everything from projects at work to putting new hardware on my kitchen cabinets. It is a life saver. Easy to use and easy to recharge.

Dewalt is reliable and never fails. Every technician, literally, at our shop owns the duo and have nothing but positive remarks about them! I would also suggest the 3/8 impact and the flashlight with the magnetic back that helps you get the job done with no worries!
This set is the best "carry around" power tool set I have ever used. Being able to use either the drill or impact covers all of the jobs I have around the farm. If it is an easy drilling or screwing in sheetrock screws chore (I use these for just about everything) I can use the screw "gun" but if it is more difficult I can use the immpact. Because of their size they fit in my Craftsman carry around which makes it easy for an old man to tote.
I've had other cordless products, all eventually fail or underpowered. I can't recommend high enough Dewalt 18v cordless products, so much so I now have 3 BIG dewalt bags, plus the big hardshell case PACED with Dewalt cordless 18v tools, batteries, chargers, and attachments (the case must weight 75 pounds, as do at least two of the three heavy canvas bags - all are overstuffed). Have any doubts about Dewalt - go see what pros use - even nascar pit crews use Dewalt cordless.
This kit and all dewalt 18v tools are awsome they are worth the money They will give you many years of sevice like mine have.
This product is great. My batteries went dead on my single 18v DeWalt and decided to get this combo. The impact drill is incredible for doing any kind of work with screws and bolts.
