It's a Die Hard Gold battery for the lawn mower!

Purchased this battery in May 2011 for my 2002 Craftsman riding mower, and its' been perfect so far.  Starts every time and has plenty of cranking amps, 340-CCA compared to the 190 of the original.  I won't know how dependable this one is until I get a few years out of it.  I doubt I'll have any issues, the Die Hard in my old truck has been in there for years without a problem.
I got seven dependable years out of the original battery, only had to jump start it once to start the seventh season.  During 2009 season it would need a jump every time I had to start the mower.  Bought a new battery from a local tractor/farm supply store in April 2010, but had corrosion trouble from the minute it went in the mower and had to jump start it every time I needed to mow the lawn. 

I installed the Die Hard Gold in May 2011, cleaned all the acid and corrosion from the cables and battery box then used stainless steel 1/4-20 fasteners to attach the cables to the terminals.  I haven't had a problem since, it's starts every time and there's no more corrosion.

Lasted 13 months then totally died, would not hold a charge. Yikes!! Wish it would have died sooner. I usually have MUCH better luck with DieHard products, first time in my 50 years that I have been disappointed.

DieHard Mower Battery

SYWR's makes it easy for the everyday DYIer to get the right tools to get the job done. I was able to get this top of the line battery for a decent price.

Great Battery

My old DieHard went dead after 8 years on my tractor. During the last two years I have kept it on a trickle charger until it just would not start any more. With that kind of service I had to go with another, although this one is a step up to the Gold. It has done well on the tractor even keeping it outside all winter long. Every time I turn the key I get a fast start. I don't know if I will get another 8 years, but this is a great start!

No complaints at all...

This DieHard battery has given my Sears Craftsman lawn tractor a new lease on life. No complaints at all. My lawn tractor starts right up every time now. I am very pleased.

YIKES Into My Sixth Mowing Season

Well into my sixth mowing season now and it finally failed to start on its own. I had to hit it with the charger for about 5 minutes and it started for what I will say is the final start on this one. I am taking it in for a core replacement on the latest version of the same battery. Outstanding service. HINT: a little service and attention on the battery every so often is well worth it.
