Diehard is now die easy!!

I have been wareing diehards for 30 years, they had the best guarantee of all, the soles were guaranteed for life of the boot, then it was 1 year, then 6 months now 3 months, the soles were the best ever. But over the last 6 or 7 years the boot has gone down the drain. Now made in China the insoles suck! There just not the same boots that they were! I still think they hold up better then most boots. But for those of u who have worn them for years know what I'm saying, you new combers will never know and that's too bad you will think there great because u have nothing to compare them too. I hope that Sears will read this and give us back the quality they always promised us the American way! By making them back in our country!!! For Americans by Americans....

Cant possibly stand in these **** boots for another minute!

After going through three pair last year, used to be able to get a year out of a pair, I noticed a red bump on my left big toe. After doing some research, i discovered it to possibly be a bunion, caused by bad fitting shoes (boots). I am a contractor and practically sleep in my work boots. With that being said, I completely stopped wearing my die hard boots, and wore some old Van's skate shoes. After about 2-3 weeks, whatever it was on my left big toe, was almost gone(not visible), and no pain in the joint. Well it's to bad Van's does not make a work boot, because they did not hold up long, and i found my self back in the Die Hard boots again. You know , for old times sake. Well needless to say, after a couple  of weeks, that red bump came back. However, now sometimes now accompanied by pain in the joint. SO.......  what  did I do? Well  I broke down and spent $180.00 dollars on..... Scratch  that!  I mean I HAPPILY AND PROUDFULLY  went to my local shoe store and purchased some AMERICAN MADE, TRUE FITTING, work boots. If you know anything about work boots, you know exactly where I went @ $180 a pair! And worth every penny!!!!  SORRY CH-EARS, SEARS WHAT EVER, BUT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU LOST ANOTHER ONE!  GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Bang For Your Buck

The leather is thick and stiff. Like an old school catcher's mitt. You have to oil it, and break it in. I expect no less. Funny how those old gloves, found in basements and garage sales, can still be used today even if they have been in storage for 20 years. Oil this shoe. Wear this shoe. Break this shoe in to conform to your foot. Goodyear welt so that it can be resoled. You can own this shoe forever.Steel toe shoes are not light. This is a heavy shoe. Even without the steel toe, the leather and sole are quite substantial. As it should be. Production in China keeps the cost down. But this shoe is still made with quality material, and well built.

Love em

I wore Diehards when I was working construction. When I started doing cable install, I picked up a pair of a competitors boots, big mistake!! I went back to Sears and got a brand new pair of DieHards, love em, most comfortable boot I have ever owned, and will never buy another boot again.

Average

This work boot is basically your average work boot. If you have a narrow foot then this is not the work boot for you. They seem to come in wider than normal widths which won't allow a person with a narrow foot able to enjoy the comforts of this work boot.

Get them

By far you best choice for the money...I have tried timberlands, wolverine durashocks, red wings. And these are the best looking and most comfortable.I have these durashocks for everyday wear, and the 6" regular diehard workboot for work, and the are both great.Could and do wear them all day.And these steel toes ,you cant even feel or tell they are steel toe at all.And a 90day waranty is a plus to.

Great

I use these boots paving roads. I've tried georgias danners and cabelas boots. They're all trashed after one 6 month season. These last me 3 or more. They hurt my feet till they're fully broken in but feel like slippers once they are.great long lasting boot.

Men's Diehard boots. My husband will only wear these!

My Husband loves DieHard brand. He needed steel toe boots for his current assignment, so we ordered them online. Shipping time was great we had them within a week. He's pretty rough with his boots, so we have to replace them every 6months. Having the availability to just order and forget about it is great!

Die Hard Sure Track, theres another boot?

The only boot I have purchased for the last 23 years, starting as a tower crane rep., 90% of the Iron workers I have worked with wear these boots. Now I'm in the bridge crane field and 85% of the guys I work with use the Die Hard Sure Track boot. I think that says enough.
