DieHard Platinum Automotive Battery Group Size 34/78DT (Price with Exchange)

I purchased this battery about a year ago.  I was concerned about the reviews with the side terminals, so I called sears about it.  I was told that the side terminals have been redesigned since the reported issues with them. Take it as you will!  I use the side terminals on this battery, in a chevy 2500hd, without any issues so far!  It has great cranking power, and seems to be very well built, and very heavy.  It has a killer warranty as well.  It seems to be as good, if not better than other agm's that I have used!  Only time will tell.  I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this battery again!   

Bought this battery 12/07. Failed 12/08. Up until failure worked fine and did the job here in northern new york state.The failure resulted from an unbonding problem of the positive side of the side mount. The way the side mounts are constructed appears fragile as plastic shielding surrounding thearea around the side mount came loose. The battery was installed by Sears and the battery hold down was securely clamped. By the way for those of you who already own this battery beware the battery will test fine by plugging the tester on the top battery posts. This really confused the technician and caused considerable delay in determining why the vehicle wouldn't start.
