Check out Marine Group 34/78

The reviews consistently point to bad side terminals for the auto version of this battery - so, check out the marine version of this battery!! x4 top terminals and identical statistics.

1yr failure

Bought this battery 12/07. Failed 12/08. Up until failure worked fine and did the job here in northern new york state. The failure resulted from an unbonding problem of the positive side of the side mount. The way the side mounts are constructed appears fragile as plastic shielding surrounding the area around the side mount came loose. The battery was installed by Sears and the battery hold down was securely clamped. By the way for those of you who already own this battery beware the battery will test fine by plugging the tester on the top battery posts. This really confused the technician and caused considerable delay in determining why the vehicle wouldn't start.

Great battery

Replaced a Lead Acid battery with this guy in my hunting Suburban and I haven't been disappointed. Great battery life, starting power and the BEST thing is you don't have to worry about it draining and ruining the battery because it just charges right back up.

It is an awesome battery

I own and Escalade and do not care to have battery problems when I am driving. Sears recommended this battery and I thought I would give it a shot. Eight years later I still have the same battery and it accepts the charge at a darn good pace. I will recommend this battery any day and twice on a Sunday.

I bought 2 of these for my diesel pickup over 18 months ago. First thing I noticed was the much faster starting speed. My favorite part is no more water level checking, no more acid dripping out of the battery and onto my fenders. I've had them in 100+ temperatures as well as below 0. I've played the stereo for hours w/o starting the truck. No hiccups of any kind. They are definitely worth the extra money!
