Good Trolling Motor Battery

I bought 3 of these batteries for my 36V boat trolling motor. I recommend using this battery for long life and quick charging recovery. I went through too many other marine batteries that had to keep refilling and would die within 2 years.

DON'T SPEND THE MONEY!

Avoid "Die Hard" Marine batteries.  They die easy, and Sears won't warranty them like they say.  Even the cashier admitted I was better off buying a cheaper Batttery at ******** because, in his words "all Marine batteries go bad"

I have 2 sets for my boat and never had any problems.Maybe some of you guys should buy a Platinum charger so your batteries could get a full charge !!

Runs long and strong!

I have 4 of these batteries and I think they are great. Have never had one run out of power on me! They are easy to recharge and are very dependable. Two of mine are 6 years old and still have plenty of power! I was very surprised at some of the other reviews because they are worth every penny spent on them!

Excellent Deep Cycle Battery For OffRoad Use

Excellent Battery. I put this in my Jeep and not only does it start on the first crank, but its deep cycle runs all of my lights, winch, etc. with ease.

die hard platinum dies very easily

I have 6 of the Sears AGM batteries.  I purchased 2 for my trolling motor on my bass boat in May, 2009.  I used the boat very little.  In August, 2012 it appears 1 has died.  They are not worth the extra money compared to a regular deep cycle battery.

You get a workout carrying this beastie, but it is worth it for the superior construction.

Power for your RVs, trolling motors, marine accessories, and starting needs in all weather. 205 Minutes of reserve capacity - Ideal for multiple electronic accessories and in the ice fishing house. Placed in my RV, just hit 36 months old. All other batteries last less then 18 months. With the extra power and extra life time it is well worth the time and money. Buy one and use the hound out of it. I Rec' this to anyone. 5-stars.

I expected these batteries to last longer!

I bought 4 of the 34m sized batteries 3 1/2 years ago for my boat. Now one battery broke down. All the batteries were used at the same rate and under equal conditions. Due to the expired warranty I have to buy a new one now. My previous Non AGM batteries also lasted more than 3 years. So what's the advantage of the Platinums? The reason I recommend these Die Hards, despite one failing premature, is the low rate of discharge while not in use. Time will tell, whether the bad one was just bad luck.

suffering from premature battery death

I bought a PM-2 in December 2008 to run a small boat trolling motor; awesome power, no maintenance, plenty of run time. Never discharged below 9v and placed on a 3-step charger immediately after each use. One cell went bad 18 months into the 3-year warranty period. Sears tested and said it was fine. I took it back the next week after it failed again (on the lake), it tested defective and they replaced it. Now, the replacement battery has gone bad 2 weeks out of warranty. AGMs should be good for 300 to 400 cycles, 4 to 7 years which is why they are twice the price of a wet cell. These two died after 40 cycles apiece for a combined 3 years, not reliable as a Die Hard should be.

DieHard Platinum PM-2 AGM Size 34M for peace of mind

I've .had 2 of these batteries for my 24 volt trolling motor for two years now....I have a 20''boat and use it about three days a week ........the motor is used sometimes 6-7 hoursfor steady trolling ........I have an on board charger and am always amayzed when I get back to my dock and the charge indicator shows very little discharge......After I plug intothe AC shore current to charge the batteries it takes less than an hour to top them off.....They also hold their charge during winter storage and only discharge about 1% a month......No need to top them off every other month like you're supposed to do with regular wet cells.......Since they are absorbed glass matt there is no danger of leakage and they can even be used while laying on their side or end without a problem.......yeah they are a little pricey but the performance they give and piece of mind is worth it......not tomention the great replacement warranty and predicted 7-10 years life......ps:::::I also have another brand AGM for my starter battery and it is a 2002 and is stillkicking butt..... also I checked out the Odyessey and I think these are a better value forthe difference in cost.

AGM battery made by Odyssey

Had this for 18 months now using it every weekend ...discharging it to about 50% for lipo battery charging at the RC field.  Still working like new.  I Like this battery due to the fact it cannot leak acid on you or explode when arcing terminals to a discharged battery.

Diehard Marine Battery Platinum PM-2

I've had this battery in my motor home for 5 years and had it replaced three times. This time Sears won't replace it. Not very happy with customer service or the battery............I won't purchase another Sears battery.

Great for offroad vehicles with accessories.

I bought this battery for my Jeep instead of the P4 because I wanted accessory posts on the top instead of the side. These are perfect for attaching COM equipment. Great battery for a great price.

Awesome

After destroying a $300 Goretex rainsuit with battery acid that leaked while I was carrying the battery, I decided to buy a new trolling motor battery. I carry batteries alot because I mostly fish rivers from my sportspal canoe which is powered by my Minn Kota. I ended up with this battery after comparing it to Optima batteries. The warrenty on the Optima was terrible compared to Sears. This is one Awesome battery. I have had it for 1-1/2 years now. I just came back from a trip today where the battery literally lasted three days on the Allegheny River. My old Stowaways would have died after one day. Well worth the money if you use your battery alot and recharge alot. Great product Sears!

Killer battery

I bought this to replace my main battery in my Range Rover Classic. This is the Sears brand relabel of a highly recommended "other" brand that sells for over $100 more elsewhere. Immediatiatly noticed that the truck cranks so much faster. In fact, had a hard time the first 2X switching the key from strat to runn as the engine fired in an amazingly fast time!I will be buying a second one when I get my winch in and running these as a dual setup with the second one isolated.In short, great, great battery.
