Dr. Rey minimizer

I was ecstatic to find a bra IN MY SIZE, first off (40 DDD.) I call it my "fortress" because it has so many features intended to buttress my DDD's up. The bottom is at least an inch longer than other bras and has the silicon non-slip feature there as well. The side support is great, too--very firm--heavy-duty, really. And it is engineered so well that it only has TWO HOOKS, but it's more comfortable than bras with 5 hooks. You can feel that the weight is distributed in a remarkable way the minute you put it on. I was really astounded by how much better than traditional bras it felt. It is also the first bra with the wide straps that actually hit me in the right place (usually the wide part lands on my chest, under the shoulder.)The only things I don't like about it is that my straps don't stay adjusted, which takes away from that really supported feeling, and this is really a day wear bra. It has molded cups that are fine when you are out and about, but if you lie on your side while lounging, the cup on the top buckles, and it's not very comfortable. If I am hanging around the house, I change out of it.I have not had a rash or other problem with this bra. I just wish the straps would stay tightly adjusted--it may just be MY particular bra that comes loose this way. I do sometimes cross the straps to retain the support, but am thinking I will sew the straps in the position I like best (when you cross the straps they show on most round neck tops.)

Caused Blisters

This bra was a disaster. It caused blisters and a rash on my breasts from the rubber (?) covered underwire portion of the bra which comes all the up between your breasts. The covering is some kind of synthetic product which actually feels comfortable, but when I took the bra off there were red lines and blisters. The fit makes your breasts look more prominent so if you're looking for subtlety, this is not for you. As for the blistering, I do not have sensitive skin, but I can only assume the rubbery coating on the underwire caused the skin reacton.

Not what I expected.

Not what I expected. Size fit too large. Cups were not soft but formed. Expected 3 hook and eye closure not just 1. Returned.

Ouch!!

I expected this to give me support without being extremely uncomfortable, but after just a few hours, I actually HAD to take it off and wear a jacket over my shirt until I got home.

Dr. Rey Shapewear Full Figure Minimizer Bra

I love love love this bra. This is the best bra I have ever bought and I am 45 years old. I wear a 42DD and this bra holds me up better than any bra I have ever tried on and worn. The second best think about this bra is the back. It completely covers my back fat. It is the lowers bra I have ever found. I would highly recommend this bra.

Comfortable All-Day Wear With Great Support

I always dread trying on bras but when I put this on in the dressing room I was sold within 5 seconds of wearing it. Not only did it fit perfectly but it was extremely comfortable and had excellent support; completely taking the pressure of my shoulders and back. The bra that I had bought a few months ago at Victoria's Secret was twice the price of what I paid for this bra and ten times less supportive. Now, I'm not trying to cast a negative shadow on VS, some of their bras are fantastic but for an everyday-wear bra this one wins by a long shot. One downside I did take note of was that it reminded me of the medieval era's version of the bra. Basically, it wasn't the "sexiest" bra on the rack but it does what I need it to do and that's really all I care about. Just don't wear an extremely tight shirt or anything semi see-through (i.e burnout tops) because it's not as no-show as the description claims. The support shelf on the bottom of the bra can be slightly awkward feeling at first as well as when in a seated position but you do get used to it pretty quickly. Also, it does not minimize as well as I expected it to and the fit does actually make the breasts slightly more apparent. Other than that it's a great bra and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a comfortable, supportive bra that boost your self-confidence about your appearance.

Can't say enough about it. great support, shoulder straps do not

Love this bra. Can't say enough about it. If the girls could sing they would be number 1 on the charts. great support, shoulder straps do not dig in. I am a 36DD. Put this on and like a blink of your eye, comfort and ah. If you need support, give this a try.

Dr Rey support bra

Lost about 50 pounds 3 years ago which left my aging breasts droopier than ever. I'd given up on finding anything that could lift and hold. Usually I hate wires and definitely can't use stretchy straps as they won't hold up anything. This bras does the trick and all my clothes look better fitting with "things" back where they belong. I do not have a problem with the straps coming off and the sturdy rubbery band does not bother my skin. It all helps with the heavy support I need even though my breasts are not large (C cup only) - just incredibly saggy.

Dr Rey's Shapewear Bra is a MUST HAVE for the full figured woman

No skimping on material here!  I purchased 3 different colors and am happy I did! They are very supportive and comfortable. I love that it only has 2 hooks in the back and that the straps at the shoulders are wider then the rest of the straps and that they are padded. No digging in and marks on the shoulders! The cup sizes tend to run a bit larger then any other bra I have worn. I am not sure if I should have purchased 1 cup size smaller  though.

There is a "rubber" like substance around the base of the bra that helps maintain support. It is quite comfortable to me however I must say that occasionally it folds on me. I think it is because I am extremely short waisted; there is not that much room between the end of the bra and my waist area so it tends flips up especially when I am sitting down. I am 5'1" and am wearing a 42DDD. If you are looking for a Bra to comfortably get you through the workday, you have found it!

Hope this helps!

Takes all the weight off my shoulders!!!!

I am a 34DDD but wear a 36DD in this bra.  I was intrigued by the amount of apparent underbust support and wow was I impressed.  As soon as I put it on I felt like a huge load had been taken off my shoulders.  I wear this bra a lot now because it helps with my posture and general energy level.  I have always been obviously busty and always wished for a smaller, more elegant bustline.  This doesn't make me smaller, but it definitely raises the headlights, makes my waist look smaller and everything fits better!  also, no back boobs. yay.

Great Bra. However . . . . . . .

I love this bra! It has great coverage and support. I tried on a 38DDD and immediately knew that this might be the "perfecct" bra I have been searching for for years. Affordable and readily available to purchase onliine if I could not locate my size in the store. However, I do have one major complaint: The straps will not stay attached to the bra! For some reason, the straps are removable?!? Why? Several times I have been out in public and one or both straps have detached. Thank goodness I was wearing a jacket or sweater! I have been tempted to return the bra for just that reason. But then again, it fits so well that I might just have to get creative and maybe permanently sew the straps. I am going to try the new Dr. Rey's Longline Bra. The style is similar but the straps are permanently attached.Overall, I am very pleased with this bra!

Dr. Rey You Nailed it!

This is a funny story, I recently have lost weight and my husbandand friends kept telling me that I need to go to a smaller bra size. I told them all they were crazy! Well I went to Sears over the weekend and saw Dr. Rey's display of shapewear and said to myself, "try it you just might like it"! Well let me tell you I am fierce now; my bra size WAS 44D it is now 40DDD. I tried the minimizer bra from Dr. Rey and it is AWESOME! This Bra helpes your posture and makes you stand up straight and the coverage is awesome! Dr. Rey you now have a customer for life! Keep up the great work!
