Electric 5-Ton Log Splitter Makes Light Wood Splitting Easy
Be ready to create memories around the campfire or to create that rural outdoor bonfire with the Ardisam electric 5-ton log splitter. This lightweight splitter packs a powerful punch for occasional firewood needs. It runs without the noise and odor associated with gas splitters, allowing you to cut wood on electricity alone. It's compact and portable, perfect for use near the home, in conjunction with a generator, or in campgrounds with power hookups.
Weighing just under 100 pounds, this electric 5-ton log splitter is easy to move wherever you need it. A rubber-coated pull handle makes relocating easy, while steel wheels keep it moving smoothly through years of use. The splitter's compact size makes it easy to transport and store, making it an excellent addition to your camping gear or backup to an everyday heavy duty splitter. Plug the splitter into any standard 110v electrical outlet, then fire it up and get the job done.

Electric 5-ton log splitter Good for Home Use

The product is exactly as advertised. It is easy for me to use and works hard to split even the logs with knots in them. The only issue, and why only four stars, is that the package was missing one bolt to complete the assembly - I made do with another bolt I had but it looks funky.

Earthquake Electric Log Splitter 5 Ton with BENT hydraulic shaft

I ordered the Earthquake Electric Log Splitter Nov. 1st, 2010. I used it in Dec. 2010, Jan 2011 & Feb 2011. I didn’t use in Dec. 2011, because it’s been unusually warm this winter.

So I only used it in four different Months. Just long enough to be out of warentee.

It popped the left hand guide nut and BENT the hydraulic shaft while splitting a log.

Got a note back from Mfg. The unit is out of warrantee. It’s warranted for 1 year from purchase date. They do have a refurbished unit they can ship for $169.00 + 52.00 Shipping.

works ok on small logs

For small logs it works pretty good, ie less than 10 inches.

no servive / no parts available

PLEASE DON'T BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE A 3YR WARRANTY
i purchased this for a freind of my wifes, it was used for one season - she went to use it this yr and it failed, she brought it to me for repair - called the company and was told they have no parts for this machine. i took it to a local tractor repair and they looked tit over - they called for parts and were turned over to the company mech. he stated to them and i quote " tell him to buy another one" and then he laughed - to take it apart and mic out or spec it for parts and then find the parts would cost more then the machine cost new

This little guy does the job, I have it on a sturdy table and have got 2 cords done. Put it on a table or it's off to the chiropractor

It is easy on the ears and a snap to use. Some mentioned it's speed but I find it just right. The power is not a question it get's the job done hard wood wet wood knots have not had a problem. Friend's who come over have been impressed also. Well back to the garage.
