The Earthquake log splitter great proformince

This little guy does the job, I have it on a sturdy table and have got 2 cords done. Put it on a table or it's off to the chiropractor

It is easy on the ears and a snap to use. Some mentioned it's speed but I find it just right. The power is not a question it get's the job done hard wood wet wood knots have not had a problem. Friend's who come over have been impressed also. Well back to the garage.

works ok on small logs

For small logs it works pretty good, ie less than 10 inches.

Electric 5-ton log splitter Good for Home Use

The product is exactly as advertised. It is easy for me to use and works hard to split even the logs with knots in them. The only issue, and why only four stars, is that the package was missing one bolt to complete the assembly - I made do with another bolt I had but it looks funky.

<p><strong>I ordered the Earthquake Electric Log Splitter Nov. 1st, 2010. </strong><strong>I used it in Dec. 2010, Jan 2011 &amp; Feb 2011. </strong><strong>I didn’t use in Dec. 2011, because it’s been unusually warm this winter.</strong></p> <p><strong>So I only used it in four different Months. Just long enough to be out of warentee.</strong></p> <p><strong>It popped the left hand guide nut and BENT the hydraulic shaft while splitting a log.</strong></p> <p><strong>Got a note back from Mfg. The unit is out of warrantee. It’s warranted for 1 year from purchase date. They do have a refurbished unit they can ship for $169.00 + 52.00 Shipping.<br /></strong></p> <p><strong><br /></strong></p> <p> </p>

Disappointing. Does not split 10 inch dry maple nor 8 inch elm
