I clean houses professionally and I always recommend this highly to everyone with stainless steel appliances. What's wierd is that only a couple of people have taken my advice. I think they must feel like I'm getting kick-backs or that I'm invested in the company because of how enthusiastic I am about it. I've used so many different ss cleaners and they have all been disappointing except for this one which does an AMAZING job. And I love that it's not a spray as the sprays make a mess on the floor. Don't even waste your time on the other one's. Most of them leave streaks and you have to spend a lot more time and effort getting a decent appearance. This one is effortless.
I see the positive reviews on this product. We have had our stainless refrigerator and dishwasher for two weeks. I just used the Kenmore Cleaner/Polish this past week. After using, the brand new surface is full of streaks and you cannot touch the surface without leaving finger marks or other unsightly smears. Anyone care to share their secret as to how you are applying this product and buffing it? I've done a lot of automobiles in my lifetime and I've never seen anything like this. I have no idea what to clean it with now to get rid of the smears. Our brand new appliance looks like heck!
Used sample on microwave and oven. I am shocked I see no fingerprints. Wondering how long the light coat I did will last? I am going to try it on my sink to see if it will help with water spots?
We have had stainless steel appliances at the last two homes we've bought, and this is by far the best cleaner we've found to keep smudges to a minimum. its amazing how many little fingers manage to get all over an appliance even though they have handles; I'm just glad we found a product that helps without just smearing them around.
I have tried other stainless steel cleaning products but have not found one that works as well as the kenmore brand. The other brands I have tried left a smeary film behind.
It works very good, leaves steel polished and ready to go. Easy to use, doesn't harm your articles and like I said easy to use. I have used other brands but none of those work as good as this one does.
Wow!!! I have both a Kenmore stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher plus a house full of kids with sticky fingers whose hands seem to be drawn to my stainless steel appliances like moths to a flame. I've searched far and wide for a cleaner that would remove the discoloration, smudges, and water marks that have accumulated over time. I was beginning to regret my choice of stainless steel finish. I bought this product as an after-thought while at the Sears Appliance store while picking out a new wall oven. I figured, like most other cleaners I'd tried, it probably won't work but "I'll give it a go". WOW!!! With virtually NO elbow grease my stainless steel appliances are back to their showroom shine! :-) It was as easy as wiping it on and wiping it off and a little goes a long way! I now don't have to feel like I have to apologize to my house guests about the smudged and streaked appearance of my appliances. I am SO relieved to have found something that worked...I was starting to think that the smudges and streaks were permanent. HUGE thumbs up to this product! Try it...you won't regret it!
This is the best product for stainless steel. I realized this after trying another brand, then switching back. I was amazed at how discolored the cloth I used to clean my frig doors with the Kenmore cleaner. The other cleaner I tried obviously was not doing a good job. This cleaner also leaves the stainless finish looking spotless.
i also use the cooktop polish on anything glass
This is the only ss cleaner I've found that really works. When I put it on, I buff it until it's dry. Don't apply it too thick, just moderately on a cloth, and then polish until dry. This product was previously branded Elco. I called the company in New Jersey and they said Sears had bought it and it was now Kenmore brand. Unfortunately, I've been trying for about a month to buy more, but my Flagstaff, AZ Sears doesn't have any. They say it's "out of stock." That really helps. It would really help if Sears could stock the product that works! Considering all the ss appliances they sell! Sears........are you hearing your good customers???
After purchasing our new Grab and Go Kenmore Elite refrigerator in October 2014, I went to clean with damp cloth and dry cloth as manual suggested. This did not work at all. We went to the store and the Sears salesman recommended this product. It is horrible. It leaves streaks and smears and the refrigerator looks horrible. In the sunlight it is even worse. There is no amount of buffing to get it off? Does anyone have any ideas of what to use to correct this problem?
Took all fingerprints off my stainless steel dishwasher after installation, and has kept it print free. Love this cleaner!
I received a small packet of this product in a new stainless steel dishwasher 3 years ago and never used it. Recently I ran across that packet and decided to try it on our new SS refrigerator and stove. WOW! Easy to use, lasts for weeks (so far), and resists fingerprints wonderfully.
The product works very well to remove stains from the stainless steel.
I would recommend the product to anyone who buys a stainless steel product. There is no residue and the cream goes on smoothly and immediately takes away dirt and grease.
I use this cleaner and waxer to clean all my Kenmore appliances. it's very easy and simple, just apply and wipe off, that all. Very good product for its price.
I have tried many stainless steel cleaners over the last six years. I was amazed how well this product worked even on tape residue. Best product I have ever used and very affordable!
After spending 30K+ on a new kitchen with all stainless steel appliances (from Sears) this is the one cleaner that keeps the kitchen looking like the day after it was all finished. Easy, fast and lasts
This is the only product that works on my refrig. I love it because it cleans not covers the fingerprints.
I have always used Elco stainless steel cleaner. I can't find it anymore. Sears rep said this is replacing it. I used it on my gas cooktop. Now there is this awful odor everytime we use the cooktop! It doesn't smell on any of the other appliances, just when heated on the cooktop. Anyone else have this happen? Otherwise it cleans well, not as well as the Elco though.
