No one's tougher on boots

Well, I run a moving company and we routinely spend 8-10 hours a day moving large items up and down stairs and truck ramps. I usually don't were boots because they are too heavy, but after going through 2 -3 pairs of sneakers a year, I decided to go back to boots again. I bought these on sale and have been impressed with their comfort and performance. We worked in the rain all weekend and my feet stayed dry. I walked up and down a wet steel ramp and did not slip or slide at all, while a co-worker wearing Timberlands nearly fell on his backside.Good toe and heel protection. He went and bought a pair for himself if that tells you anything.

Fell apart in 6 months!

Bought this for occasional yard work and hiking, nothing serious... Rarely used in the rain since i don't like walking in the rain. The front rubber lip has completely detached on one shoe and the other one is getting there.. The cheap webbing behind the lip frayed and separated from the leather uppers. There are through holes now, on a shoe that i've worn maybe 20x. I don't think I've ever owned a more poorly constructed shoe in my life.

Feet warm and dry but not sweaty

This is the best pair of waterproof shoes or boots I have ever had. My feet don't sweat and then get cold because of it.

Great Everyday Boot!

This is my 3rd pair. If you get them on sale (around $50) this boot is a great deal. My size 13's are comfortable & easy to wear for yard work or shopping, or whatever. They breakdown after an acceptable period of hard use, but, you'll get your money's worth. Then just wait for a sale and buy another pair. Sure, my Merrells are a better boot, but they cost twice as much, and I don't really want to abuse them for no reason, that's why I buy these Elk Woods. You'll like em.

Says waterproof construction.

My feet get soaked in any light rain or snow. There's nothing left to the tread after only 3 months of use.

love them

bought these boots for my brother, who had the same pair that he bought 4 years ago, he loved them and wore them till they fell apart. He was very excited to see that they are still being sold and now has a new pair.

Love these boots

I've owned these for about 2 weeks. So I can't speak for how these will hold up, but I love them so far. We've had allot of snow and I work for a delivery company. These boots kept my feet bone dry. And the traction was awesome. If they hold up, I'd change my rating to 5 starts. If they don't I'd still only drop it down to 3 because of how great they've been so far.

Snow boots for college walking.

The tongue of the shoe was too narrow so that there were gaps for snow to enter. I took them back.

Good boots!

I went to REI, Big 5 and Sports Authority before settling on these boots. I have a wide foot and these are excellent in resolving that issue. I waterproofed them and bought some better laces. (The laces do need to be replaced. They do not hold a tie.) They are warm and dry and, I am happy that I bought them

WarmnDry

These are great! I traverse many wet lawns all winter long and there is absolutely no moisture getting through these! They are extremely warm and I hope to put many miles on them this winter. Additionally, their excellent tread prevents slipping on oil, snow and grass.

Good boot for the money!

I bought these for my husband as he needed something to keep his feet dry while he was working in the yard. They were cheaper then most waterproof boots so I gave them a try. So far he has been happy with them. He says they are comfortable and do keep his feet dry. I did also purchase the waterproof spray and he sprayed that on them before using so I would also recommend the spray.

Elk Woods Men's Predator

These hikers are very uncomfortable (PERIOD). It feels like something is in the bottom sticking through. Your feet also can't breath. I'm returning them today & would not recommend.
