Good Freezer

I purchased this freezer just about 3 months ago. So far, it has worked great. I had looked at many units and read so many reviews for months before deciding on this freezer. When I decide on this one, it was for a number of reasons. One - I liked the fact that it is a commercial grade freezer. They have to meet a higher standard of quality because, the majority of the time they are used by food service based businesses. This freezer meets the NSF standard. It has kept the food at a steady -10 degrees Two - I love the fact that it is on wheels. This makes it very easy to move around when needed. The majority of the freezers on the market today that are of this small size do not have wheels. This has also made it much easier to clean around the unit. I have not had to defrost it as of yet but the fact that it is on wheels will make cleaning it much easier as well. Three - The compressor is not noisey at all. This was important to me as it sits in my kitchen. The only thing that I wish it did have, is some sort of small green light on the front to indicate that the unit is getting power. It does have a red light which when on, indicates that the compressor is going. But, when the compressor is off, the red light is off.

7.2 cu. ft. commercial freezer

|

Just got this freezer today and it is very very nice. Not at all like the run of the mill small freezers. It did have an oder when first started but that was the motor burning off and it has left now. It was pricier, but I feel it was well worth the difference to get an energy star product and heftier motor etc. Those casters are really sweet and make it a breeze to move for cleaning. This is gonna be my NEW BEST FRIEND for sure! Do not be afraid to splurge for it, as you get what you pay for (so true).
