My fondest Disney Memory is going on the now-gone Rocket Jets @ Tomorrowland Pavillion. My contact flew out from the wind & I reached out, caught it freehand where I held onto it for dear life 'til the ride was over. It would've been a terrible vacation with one contact lens

My fondest Disney memory is yet to come. We have a Disneyland Savings Jar on top of the fridge with Mickey Mouse ears as a lid. We started the jar 4 years ago and have been able to save hotel, food, and park costs at a rate of 1 child per year. This means in 2 years we will finally be able to create our first Disney memory. Every time a Disney movie or commercial comes on TV, one of my sons walks into the kitchen, looks up at the jar, closes his eyes, & makes what he calls his "magic wish."
My fondest and only Disney memory was when I was 15 and went with my family. I'd love to one day be able to go with my daughter and granddaughters.
When I think of Disney, my mind goes back to my own childhood. Back when "The Wonderful World Of Disney" graced the airwaves, and I wanted that Mickey Mouse watch that my friend had. I thought, like that Atari console, or a trip to Disney, I'd never see it, but I did get that watch for a birthday. Iconic as it is, they still make them today I'll be sure to repeat that experience for my own kids when I have the chance. :)
