silky man's panties

I recently stopped at Sears and bought these slippery silky nylon panties in the pastel 3 pack: pink, yellow, and blue. The sales lady was wonderful in helping me find the correct size and fit in panties. The nylon feels even more slippery than VF on a fellow. They hold and caress all day. Soft gentle elastic keeps everything inside the undies (no fallout) and the full bum covers nicely. More men should try these stimulating panties for feel and support. I will be buying more ! Thank you Sears.

Disappointing VIP Panties

I have worn Sears VIP panties for almost 30 years. They WERE a wonderful value...true to size, outstanding workmanship, excellent quality fabric. But something unfortunate happened in the past one or two years. They are now inferior in every way...within one size, the actual measurements of the panty vary from too tight to too loose. Workmanship is poor (where the elastic ends meet on the waist, there is a big "bump" that cuts into the skin.) Fabric is also nowhere near the soft, smooth material used in the past. When I ordered these panties last year, I was disappointed, but thought that maybe I just got a bad lot. So, this year I gave it one more try and was again disappointed. Unless I hear or read that there has been a drastic improvement in this product, I will no longer be purchasing. So sad...I would have been a lifetime customer :-(

WHAT A GREAT PANTY

WELL I READ SOME OF THE REVIEWS MEN HAVE WROTE ABOUT THESES PANTIES SO I HAD TO GO BUY SOME FOR MYSELF SIZE 7.WELL WHEN I GOT HOME I HAD TO TRY THEM .OMG THEY FELT SO NICE ON MY SKIN THE FIT IS PERFECTLOVE THE COLORS JUST WISH THEY MADE THEM WITH MYBE ALITTLE LACE AND A BOW.I WILL BE BUYING MORE SOON.I THINK THIS PANTY WAS MADE FOR BOTH WOMEN AND MEN.

Not like they used to be!

I too am disappointed at the current quality. I'm allergic to elastic, and the waistband AND the leg openings used to be enclosed. I wish they still were. But they are still the best-fitting panties for me!

Women's VIP Plus Size Nylon briefs

I am just so angry that Sears has changed this product. I too have been wearing these same panties for years. Now they are extremely poor quality - no longer covered elastic in the legs and zero consistency in sizing. I bought several new packages. When I opened them to wash them I noticed that they did not seem to be even remotely the same size. I opened just a couple more packages and was so upset that I returned them. Went on the hunt for somewhere else to buy plus size panties that were better. I did not fair well. Back to Sears I went and discovered that in looking at the packaging on the back that some are made in Mexico, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and China. No wonder these are such poor quality. I bought all of the packages that were made in Mexico as these seemed to be a little more consistent in fit. After finally washing all of them and starting to wear them I have noticed that the right leg on some of them is at least 3" larger than the left. Now I am stuck.

Why did you change a great product?

I have bought these panties for so long, I can't remember not wearing them. I recently bought a new 3 pack without looking at the packaging, not that looking would have told me of the changes INSIDE. The previous panties were made in China (ugh), but the new ones are made in Malaysia. What a difference, and NOT FOR THE BETTER. These are not sized the same. They are sized as if they were 2 sizes smaller. Additionally, there is not enough rise. If I wanted hip huggers, I would have selected hip huggers. These panties do no reach my waist as the others always did. I have a little tummy and the previous style accomodated my curves. These do not. Shame on you for taking a great product and making it, I don't know, not even good. I'll be shopping for a different brand for the first time in many, many years. Too bad.

I have worn the VIP underwear for years. These briefs have changed in the last few years. They don't seem as heavy as they once were! I am a little disappointed in them.

I have  always brought these VIP Nylon brief from Sears, but in the last year, they have changed, size 10 to small, after washing there's a thread coming lose.  Plus, they at some time was have then on sale, nope not these.

I have worn SEARS VIP briefs for years and they were always good quality.  This last package I ordered was not as shown in the photo.  The leg elastic was not covered and the fabric is very thin and cheap.  They quickly came unsewn and did not hold up.  Definitely will not buy again.

HOWEVER, I HAVE BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR OVER 25 YEARS , NOW THE LAST TWO PACKAGES I BOUGHT WERE CUT SMALLER, I EVEN COMPARED THEM TO AN OLDER PAIR. I GUESS THEY ARE SKIMPING ON MATERIAL, I MAY HVE TO BUY A LARGER SIZE.

What has happened to Sears quality?

I have worn these same VIP panties for years. Now that my old ones are getting worn out, I went to Sears recently to replace them. First, I bought the same size 9 that I've always worn, and they were about 5 inches too large. I returned them and ordered size 9 in the same VIP product I've always purchased, and the cut is so small that I won't be able to get in them if they shrink one tiny bit. In addition, the quality of the fabric is nowhere near what it used to be. So Sears, a company I've counted on for years, can no longer be counted on for my clothing needs. I'm very disappointed.

Panty has changed but still okay

I am a female who has worn this panty for years. The panty style has changed in that the leg elastic is no longer covered and perhaps the nylon isn't as heavy as it once was, but the panty still feels fine. I went up a size to get a good fit.

Fundamental women's briefs disappointing

I have been purchasing VIP briefs from Sears for as long as I can remember. Within the last year or so I looked for them in the store and found only the Fundamental line. I choose the beige ones. Upon opening the pkg at home I realized that the elastic around the legs is on the outside rather than on the inside as was the case with the VIP. This is much inferior. On top of that the sizing was also off. I was unable to wear this pkg of three. So I looked on line this month & going by the pictures I was delighted to find white & beige in what I felt would be the "old VIP" style of construction. ..Picked up the order at the store only to find out at home that the beige ones again [still?] had the elastic on the outside [made in Malaysia] but the white ones [made in China] were as I'd hoped with elastic underneath. How is it that two different products are sold as the same item in different colors? Needless to say I had to return the beige pkg to the store which is what I should have done with the prior disappointing purchase.

Great panty for the price!.. a must have

These panties are great! good fit, comfortable waist line, perfect for every day use. I love the fit and feel of these panties; they are comfortable, don't ride up, and keep your assets where they need to be. I have washed mine several times and they they hold up well under jeans and whatever you wear. LOVE THEM!!I have just ordered another package of these and I find the elastic to be comfortable and acceptable. These are great every day panties, comfortable, not too flashy, not too boring, Still a fundimental and the material is almost as comfortable as VF brand and about 1/2 the price.

The VIP Women's Fundamentals briefs aren't what they used to be.

I have been buying the Sears VIP panties for over 25 years and have loved the fit and comfort. Recently, since the nearest store had closed, I tried ordering them online. However, the panties I received did not have the covered leg openings and are not as comfortable as they were. The elastic on one panty started unraveling after the 3rd wash. And the nylon does not seem as nice as it was. I tried ordering other panties online, but none of them worked out. So I guess I'll order the VIPs again, but reluctantly. If it were necessary to raise the price a little to get back the old quality, I would pay it.

27-Year VIP Customer Disappointed !!!

I've been wearing VIP Panties for almost 28 years - my mother-in-law was a Sears catalog store employee and recommended them to me, and I haven't worn any other kind of panty since - until now. Several months ago, made the almost-70-mile (one way) drive to my nearest Sears store to purchase them and was very misinformed by the sales associates. No VIP panties to be found in the store, but two sales associates assured me that the Fundamentals was the same, just under a different name now (no "VIP" anywhere on the package). I took their word for it, bought two packages. Laundered them - all 6 pair - when I took them out of the dryer I noticed that the leg elastic was not covered like the VIP panties I'd worn for over 27 years, they looked very small, then I noticed the fabric was not as soft as before also. The fit was at least two sizes smaller than they should have been. Six pair of panties - over $20.00 thrown away - couldn't return because I had already laundered them - so so very disappointed. Now I find these on the website - picture shows covered leg elastic, info says they are "VIP" - although some of the reviews say when they ordered the picture showed this, but the product they received was not covered leg elastic. I am ordering these today, but will not launder before I see if they are the correct product - if not, they will be returned.

3pk women's nylon briefs panties.

The nylon 3 pack panties are comfortable and feel nice on ,but do not feel as silky as vanity fair full brief panties .the panties wash up nice and fit good around waist and had to get a bigger size than i usually wear .Great to wear under tight slacks or skirts.Think they could make more colors of the nylon brief panties such as mint green ,darker pink ,yellow ,or lavander .
