Just what I was looking for!

I bought this fountain for my balcony. I live in an apartment, which has a huge balcony attached. This fountain is perfect for my needs. I love the design and color. I set mine up in no time. I have it elevated, on an outdoor stool, to give it a bigger presence, and keep it out of reach from my pets. I love the sound. It comes with a bag of pebbles/stones, but I actually added some pebbles to it, and put some on the exposed surface of the stool its sitting on. Couldn't ask for more. Heads up, though, I thought this was a ceramic fountain. It looks it. However, it seems to be made entirely of fiberglass. Very light weight. I was fine with that. I have to say, the "directions" suck! There is a single, two sided sheet that comes with the fountain. Set up is simple, but not explained well, at all. I figured it out, myself. You have to attach the clear pump, inside the base, to the nipple on the black pump, BEFORE you plug it in. Make sure the pump is completely submerged. (The directions seem to indicate the suction cups on the pump should attach to the inside of the base. However, the unfinished plexi on the inside does not allow for this. I find the pump works just fine, free-floating in the water.) The pump takes several seconds to get the water up through the tallest vase, before it starts overflowing into the next. Once it gets going, though, it flows great. Low humming sound from the pump, is muffled by the sound of the water flow. It is everything I wanted. Love it!

Hosing likely disconnected with no possible repair.

The 3rd or 4th time I turned this fountain on, I noticed that no water would pool up into the top vase, meaning it is not a "fountain" any more. I can hear the pump "working" below--it's rumbling, and the hose is properly connected to the pump. However, I believe the hose probably feeds up to the top of the tallest vase, and it likely has come dis-connected--hence the water not pooling up any more. Due to the solid vase construction of this fountain, I cannot fit my hand that far upward to reattach the hose, and unfortunately now I have an $80 piece of junk on my patio. There probably should have been a clear way to repair this--which has got to be a common malfunction as the plastic tubes expand and stretch, and fall off, in the heat. I wanted this piece to contribute to a lush, tropical backyard, but this poor design will not last long for anyone who purchases this product.

Lousy

The garden fountain was lovely when we first put it on our front porch last spring. In the fall, we cleaned it and put it in a safe place under furniture over the winter as we did with our other fountain. When we went to fill it this spring, it crumbled! The paint came off the vases and the are all broken. If I knew it was of such poor quality, I would never have purchased it!!

Lovely addition, summer AND winter

I bought this fountain at the end of the season for a very nice price, and it is delightful! We purchased it to serve as "white noise" on our patio, and the water sounds it makes are not too loud but very nice and steady. It will be a great addition to our patio next summer. Also, after checking it out, I was ready to put it away for the winter, because I found out it splashes out a little bit (very little bit). I had wanted to let it run in the house for the winter, but I didn't want to risk any mildew developing. My husband said "Why not keep it out? It's attractive, and 'not doing any harm!' You can put some plants on the different levels." What a great idea! I am going to put some cactus plants on top of each "vase," and say "thanks!" for all the compliments it will get.

The Garden Oasis Vase Fountain

I love this! I have completed my do-it-yourself landscaping in my back yard and couldn't be happier to spend time in the yard enjoying the water fountain. The water trickles and bubbles and adds the perfect finishing touch to the space. I highly recommend this product.
