Perfect when we take all of us on a family trip. Save plenty of room inside our SUV.

Great item! Super lightweight yet strong and durable. Perfect.

I bought this because of the size and weight.  It only weighs 22 pounds so you can carry more (less tongue weight) and can be easily installed by 1 person.  At 50" wide it works and looks great for mid-sized SUV's.  There are plenty of places for bungee or tie-down strap hooks to secure your cargo.  We took it on a 700 mile round trip without any incident. 

The only thing I had an issue with was the hitch bar being a bit short.  I have a Liberty with a spare tire on the back and it would not fit under or on the outside of the tire.  I had to buy a receiver extension in order to use it.  This is by no means a problem with the Hitch-N-Ride but I wanted to share that in case you have a spare tire on the back of your vehicle.
