About Points

  • Points are SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS currency
  • Earn at least 10 Points for every $1.00 spent in stores or online at Sears, Kmart, Lands' End, The Great Indoors, and mygofer.
  • The more you shop, the more Points you'll earn!
  • Earning Points is only half of the benefit. Redeem as many Points as you like at checkout to get money off your total purchase.
  • Whenever you shop (even if it is with Points), you keep earning new Points. 
  • The earning and redeeming cycle is continuous! Yay for saving money!

Retrieving Missing Points

If you recently bought something and didn't get Points for it, there is an easy fix – you can still get them!

  • For purchases made at mygofer, Sears Auto Centers, Sears Home Services, Sears Grand, Sears Essentials, Sears Hardware, Sears Authorized Hometown Stores and Sears Outlet, Sears.com or Kmart.com, please call Customer Service at 1.800.991.8708 to add these transactions to your account.

How are Points calculated?

Members earn 10 Points or more for every $1.00 spent on qualified purchases.

How long are Points valid?

Points expire one year after they are earned, so don't hesitate to redeem them. 

Also, you will be notified when they are about to expire.

Do all my purchases count towards earning Points?

Most items count towards earning Points, but not all.

Items that do not earn Points include: lottery tickets, food from the eatery, licenses, concessions, tobacco, alcohol, firearms, gift cards, postage, bill payments, credit card payments, gasoline, Western Union, prior layaway purchases, purchases for which Points were redeemed, ServiceLive and Sears Hearing Aids, Portrait Studios or any other licensed business, charges for installation, delivery charges, shipping charges, extended warranties, protection agreements, Sears or Kmart auctions on eBay, and taxes and fees.

How can I check to see if I have any Points?

If you are signed into your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS account, click on the "Rewards" icon in the upper left corner. On the pop-out tab you can see your current Point balance. 

Can I earn Base and Bonus Points on the same item/transaction?

You can earn Points on specified qualifying purchases. SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Bonus Members may earn Bonus Points in addition to Base Points. 

Bonus Points are inclusive of and not in addition to Base Points earned on a qualifying purchase. For example, Members will earn 1,000 Base Points on a $100.00 qualifying purchase. If a "2x" or "2%" multiplier offer is also applicable, the total Points earned would be 2,000, calculated as follows: (1,000 Base Points + 1,000 Bonus Points). 

Can Bonus Point offers be combined?

On occasion SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS may also offer Bonus Members a chance to combine two or more Bonus offers on a qualifying purchase. When this occurs, Base Points are only earned once. 

For example, if a Bonus Member purchases a $250 tool chest at a time when two Bonus offers are available (one offering 2% in Points for the specific tool chest and another offering 10x Points for any tool storage purchase) the total Points earned would be 27,500, calculated as follows: (5,000 from the 2% offer [2,500 Base Points + 2,500 Bonus Points] + 22,500 from the 10x offer [25,000-2,500 Base Points earned above]). 

How do I start earning SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Points? Do I have to activate my account?

Sears cardholders with Citibank-issued cards can earn Points from SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS once the SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Membership is activated
here.

You must activate the Membership to earn and redeem Points and become a Bonus Member.

Can I earn Points at a Kmart Pharmacy?

Yes, you can. You can earn 500 Points with every qualified prescription you fill or refill at a Kmart Pharmacy.  

Qualifying prescriptions exclude prescriptions paid for in whole or in part by state and/or federal healthcare programs and prescriptions purchased in AL, AR, MA, NJ, and NY, controlled substances prescriptions in LA, sales taxes, and other fees. 

You'll be awarded Points quarterly (timing is subject to change). Points are not valid to redeem on any prescription purchase. Members earn Points on qualifying purchases (subject to full program terms). 

Offers are available only for SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Members with a valid email address or mobile phone number in their Member profile. Points earned by non-prescription purchases may take up to 7 – 10 days to appear in your account. 

Qualifying purchases exclude sales taxes and other fees. To be eligible to earn Bonus Points, you must maintain a valid email address in your account and remain opted in to receive promotional emails from Sears Holdings and its affiliates.

My statement is showing I have a certain amount of Points, but I know I've spent more than this. What should I do?

Points are updated on a weekly basis, and usually take 7 – 10 days to appear online or at the register. 

Your Points continue to be calculated as long as you use your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Membership when you make qualifying purchases at participating stores. 

If you bought something at a participating store and the Points don't show up, click on the "Rewards" tab in the upper right corner of the screen, and then select “View your account history" to display all of your most recent store purchases.

If you are still not seeing the most recent Points balance, you can scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen and click on “Retrieve Them,” which is highlighted in orange below the account history table (just make sure you have your receipt handy). 

For all purchases made at mygofer, Sears Auto Centers, Sears Home Services, Sears Grand, Sears Essentials, Sears Hardware, Sears Authorized Hometown Stores, Sears Outlet, Sears.com, or Kmart.com, call customer service at 1.800.991.8708 within 60 days of your purchase. 

I wrote a review on mysears.com or mykmart.com. When will I see the new Points on my SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS account?

Your Points will be applied to your account within 30 days of you reaching one of the VIP levels (Silver, Gold, or Platinum). 

I'm a member of Craftsman Club , but not MySears or MyKmart. Can I earn Points for writing reviews or earning recognition badges?

Unfortunately, not at this time. 

Can I earn SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Points for earning a badge on a MySears or MyKmart community account before I was a member?

Of course! As long as you earned a badge level of Contributor's Circle or higher within the same calendar year, you're good to go.

I have a MySears or MyKmart account. How do I transfer MyCommunity Points to my SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS account?

Enter your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS Member number when you log in to your MySears, MyKmart, or MyCommunity profile. From here you will be directed of how to transfer your MyCommunity Points.
