Ingersoll Rand 60 Gallon Industrial Air Compressor, Vertical Tank, 5 HP, 2 Stage Pump

I ORDERED THIS COMPRESSOR AND THEY DIDN'T INCLUDE THE OIL NOR DID THEY INCLUDE A POWER CORD WITH THE ORDER. NO INFORMATION WAS INCLUDED TO CONTACT A SERVICE CENTER OR OPERRATION MANUAL. I BOUGHT A DEEP SOCKET SET AND SEVERAL ITEMS WERE MISSING AND SEARS WANTED ME TO SEND 62 POUNDS OF SOCKET BACK TO THEM AND REORDER A NEW SET. VERY BAD COMPANY.

Good Compressor but could be better

I purchased this air compressor because it is almost $500 cheaper than comparable brands of the same quality. I really wish it had a 208v motor option, and the casting on the flywheel looks like it was done by a twelve year old. But, overall this machine is a great value.

Well worth the money!

Bought this compressor to replace my very well used 6 horse 60 gallon Craftsman and have been nothing but happy with it since the first time I started it up.I am a full time mechanic and do alot of projects at home, this compressor has great pressure, more than adaquate reserve, recovers very quickly and is quiet. It is rare that I purchase something that holds up to my expectations but this compressor exceeded my hopes and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Excellent value

Quiet compared to other compressors of same nature. High CFM output with low power.  Does not seem to cycle as often. Replaced a Hausfeld.  We have another Ingersoll but bigger which is why we bought this. We put vibration pads under the feet.  Cons no dip stick or sight glass for oil.  You have to open the cover and shine a flash light in.  Water draining valve is awkward.  Used tape on it so it won't drip as another reviewer recommended.  Have to put pan underneath to drain.  We drain everyday so this is annoying.  However, great value.  Delivery guys were helpful once they got over they had to deliver a compressor! 

Nice compressor for the money

Good value on sale. Drain plug does drip but teflon tape tape stops that. Very nice compressor for the money. Not offensively loud for the size. Can work around it running and not be overwhelmed. Quick refill rate even when pushed to 195psi cutoff. I would recommend this compressor.

Quiet + Efficient

Ingersoll-Rand 60 gal

I've had this compressor for about 6 months now. I used it every week in the shop for my restoration projects. Perfect unit for the serious do-it-yourselfer. Makes air faster than I can use it. The only downside (and its minor) is the plastic oil fill plug tends to leak a bit when running. I've tried everything but ordering a new cap. Definitely worth the buy.....

I have had mine for about two years now. I have beat the day lights out of it with a bead blast cabinet application. I have never had a failure. It always keeps up with the demand and is actually really quiet for its' size and horse power. I can use it and be standing right next to it while it is running and still not be uncomfortable. This is a great value and would recommend it to any one that needs a compressor.
