Excellent pool

This pool was very easy to set up and is well worth every cent I spent on it. My kids and I love it and use it everyday all day. It is very durable..way better than the pool we had last year that collapsed before the summer was over. Its big enough and sturdy enough that we have decided that we are going to leave it up year round. I would definately suggest this pool to anyone looking to buy one. Its a little pricey but with layaway its very affordable. It will actually save you money in the long run. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we do!!!!

Intex pools are a great value for the money!

I remember many lazy summer days swimming in our pond when I lived at home. I do not have a pond now, but having one of these above ground intex pools would be great on a hot summer day. I had an intex pool years ago and it was great! They are easy to maintain and are a great value for the money!

Extremely Pleased!

This pool is so much nicer than I expected. It is much more sturdy than the blue one. I would definitely buy this product again. I am a 50 year old female and I set up about 98% of it by myself. It was set up, filled with water, and ready to go in less than 5 hours. The only thing my son helped me with was holding the side wall up while I finished the final pieces. I wasn't strong enough to put the final top rail piece in place, so he also did that. This pool was a great value.

Best money we've spent with our hot summers.

We bought out Intex Ultra Frame Pool early this season to keep our kids swinmming. Not only did they have fun we did, too. We even had a couple of pool parties it has been great.

Pool Solid; Intex not

Bought the Intex ultra setup. Frame is much more sturdy than a regular frame. However, they give the cheapest plastic clips to hold the pool together. Half of them arrived bent and useless. Had the pool up and running for about a month and then pool pump stopped working. Called Intex and received a message we are too busy to help you please call back later. Unbelievable. Kept calling and finally got a hold of someone in China. They said once I fax my order it would be 3 weeks for a new one. Kept following up with them and finally after three weeks, got another pool pump.

Very happy with this pool.

This pool is a good size for our family. It's big but not too big. Set up was quick and easy. We have a good level spot for it. If you buy this pool just be sure to place it on level ground. Some other reviews mentioned the ladder but we have no issue. The laddre seams sturdy and stable enough.

Beware of your state laws & local ordinances!

This pool seems great...good price, easy delivery & setup. But, just before we cracked open the box, we learned of some state laws and zoning ordinances that would make owning this pool very difficult. For example, in Pennsylvania, there are strict rules about the type and location of the outlet to plug in the filter, along with requirements for the type of fence you have. Between those rules & our town's $150 permit fee, we decided to send it back.

Love this pool!!! Intex 16 x 48

This pool is well worth the money spent...which is a great price anyways...took us 1 hour to put together and about 12 hours to fill..best results and time we had three people, so easy to follow instructions and dvd, absolutely love it...very strudy and does not shake or move when in pool, just dont put powder shock chemical directly in pool ...my mistake and it faded my pool liner bottom..but other than that great pool for the family.....will definitely buy product again and recommended it everyone who wants a pool..

Great Pool!

I brought this for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it. A lot of room for everyone to enjoy! I can even swim laps from side to side. Very study material, the only thing the ladder is a little wobbly when getting into the pool. It took my husband and me about two hours to put this pool together. We ran into difficulty with the plastic clips that attached the rods. The clips would not go in correctly and we had to continuously remove and position the plastic. I think for the money paid, Intel should make the clips metal or permanently attached to the rod. I would recommend having someone to help put together. It took about 10 hours to fill with the garden hose. Overall, the instructions and the DVD are very easily to follow. Great investment for summer family fun!

Intex Pool-16' x 48"

After many hours of levelling prepwork that had been mentioned in earlier reviews and putting a 15' circle area with approx 5" of sand for a softer and liner safe flooring, also putting in 16 6" by 6" pavers for legs, pool seems pretty stable. Very happy with the results.

In mad love

I love this so much, my son is extremely hyper and causes waves like crazy and it hold up to it. the filter works like a dream, you just have to watch your chemicals, and the pool cover is not a cheap one. Will only buy an intex from now on, it also gives extra patch covers, and too much to mention... love it

Great Pool

This is a great pool. The set up was very easy. The only problem I had was making sure the ground was level (my yard is not very level). After addressing the level issue, the pool went together 1, 2, 3. My entire family loves the pool. It is not too big and certainly not too small. I do although agree with the ladder issue. It does not have a platform on the top which makes it harder to get in and out, and it is a little unsteady. The pump, vaccume, skimmer, cover, and pool itself are great. I am very happy I purchased the product.

Intek Ultra Frame Pool

The 16' pool was easy to set up, and surprisingly study. The two problems are the ladder is not too sturdy, and they send a skimmer with the pool, but no adapter to attach it to the pump inlet. I expected the ladder not to be sturdy, but the adapter to be able to use the skimmer would be a plus.
