I purchased this pool May 2005, now we are moving up to the 24 x 52. We kept the pool up year round with Michigan winters. I replaced the ladder with a better one from the pool store, and replaced the pump a ouple of times - vacuuming. I highly recommend the Intex products.

We had a intel once before and for a above ground pool our expectations were lower than the enjoyment we received,There are two issues i would like to address with the 18x48 we purchased in Dec.`09. First, the latter you provided with this unit has no top platform, so when someone such as my Grandson steps from the outside step to the inside step to step into the pool, he stands a very good chance of stepping through the step frame between the two top steps and injurying himself. My question to you is this and over sight on your part, and if not then is the savings to your company worth it?
Next,I noticed the other day when my Grandson was waiting to get in the pool he walked over to it and before i could say anything he had hooked his big toe in the side where the pole slides through the side of the pool to support the sides and grabed the top rail and pulled himself up to look over in. I felt this might be a safety issue you might want to address.
