I liked it to keep out of the sun but. we had some trouble getting the canopy in the position we wanted.

Cheap and broken

I bought this to bring to swim meets and the beach. It lasted one season and now the canopy has torn away from the chair. The canopy was how you transported it. The plastic attaching the canopy to the chair broke apart and it was made cheaply so I guess I'm not surprised. Save your money.

Relax in the shade

Great for the beach or backyard BBQ.

Poor Quality and didn't last long !

Straps broke so now you can't carry the chair the way it was intended to be carried, on your back. Inside rod on canopy collapsed and now the canopy is limp. Good design if the quality was there. I like all the options like dual cup holders, pockets in the canopy, and most of all the straps to carry on your back. Too bad it didn't hold up.

Great while it lasted

Great chair for soccer and baseball in the Georgia and Florida sun. Bought it after seeing all the other parents using them. It was comfortable and loved the sunshade. I'm about 230lbs and after about 35 separate uses at 3-hour long games, of the joints gave way at the font part of seat. At about $30, I would definitely buy again

great chair. we went to country in the park,95 degrees and no shade, no umbrellas allowed. it saved my 280 lb husband.

Great chair,in fact went fishing and worked great,I weigh 230 lbs and held me good.Worth the money,in fact am going to get more chairs.

Mine broke too!!!

I had it for only six months. Probably used it less than 10 times during that time only to watch my daughter's mini soccer game. The manufacturer is in China. The distributor cannot repair nor supply parts to fix the chair. After all these negative reviews, why is this chair still being offered by Sears?

Newer version MUCH better than before!

We had one before that had problems with the plastic used. Contacted Kelsyus after a frustrating day at the pool and found out that it was an issue but has been fixed. Did I mention that they took care me? You do need to call during EST.

Comfortably shady!

I've been wanting a chair for outside which also provides shade. Saw it in the store so I tried it out. It provides a good amount of shade and is very comfortable. It easily folds up for portability. It is a little heavy so you won't want to carry it on a mile walk to the beach. I am willing to deal with the weight as I wouldn't want a super light chair that isn't durable.

This is not worth the money.

I bought the chair a year ago and only used it 3 times. The chair was stored in my house so it wasn't exposed to prolonged heat and in the same position that it was in the store when I went to pick it up. I took it to school a couple of months ago to use during field day and when I opened it up I found that the black material in the canopy started falling out and the canopy could not stay up. I bought the chair because of the canopy and now it won't even stay up. Big disappointment!!!

Kelsyus Canopy Chair Blue Is a good idea but the quality is poor

We bought 2 of these chairs for outdoor concerts in Oct 2010. Didn't use them all winter b/c the concerts had just about finished here but we knew we'd love them this spring. Then last weekend we took them out to use them and the plastic that holds the canopy onto the frame had disintegrated. The canopies are unusable and the chairs also will not stay in the cover for transporting like a backpack. Went to Sears but they refused to do anything about it. Very faulty design. I would not buy them again and wish I hadn't wasted my money this time.

Saw and ordered online at local Sears store. When I arrived at store to pickup there were none. However, Sears found one at another store and delivered to my home free of charge.

Very satisfied with their effort to insure I remain a happy Sears customer.

Great way of protecting yourself from too much sun.

I recently moved to Hawaii where the sun it intense and the wind blow umbrellas away. The chair on this product is comfortable and portable, and the adjustable attached canopy will protect me from the sun and not blow away.
