Great way to minimize trash

My husband and I have owned a compressor for years. It is a great way to minimize the number of bags needing to be carried out to the curb on trash day. This new compresser works just as well and makes a lot less noise than the old one.

Kenmore trash compactor that doesn't compact trash?

I love the look of my new compactor that I installed about 2 weeks ago. But the stupid thing doesn't compact any trash! The manual says to make sure you fill it at least 1/2 full and I did but It still doesn't compact any trash. It's terrible.

Not worth the money

After repairing this compactor twice, we moved it to the curb tonight with the hopes it will be compacted itself. It is not well made. It has PLASTIC gears which kept cracking. For what we paid in service calls I could have bought a lifetime of garbage bags. This product has left doubts that we will ever buy anything that says Kenmore again.

Almost perfect!

Right item, right color, right price! The only negative is that it does not have a super pack setting which is a extended heavy pressing pack time to compress the trash.
