Non-Stick for Convenience. Kenmore Quality.
I evaluated many cookware sets before deciding on this Kenmore Non-Stick Cookware. I'm glad i made the right choice. The deciding factor for me was the ease of cleaning. This set not only cleans easily in the sink, but is dishwasher safe for times when I'd just rather leave the chore of cleaning to my Kenmore Elite dishwasher.
Of all the non-stick cookware I considered, the Kenmore set was the only one that offered me the confidence that the outer finish wouldn't chip away. And I was right, it has served me well thus far.
In addition, the bottom of the cookware has a clad bottom to distribute heat evenly. Is it professional cookware? No. A professional cook would not use aluminum cookware to begin with. But I am a home cook, not a chef.
If you are looking for a decent set of cookware that will hold up, look good on your stove top, and will clean up with ease, this set is for you. The only thing I would improve about this set is the handle design. It seems to conduct heat very well, and that is not something you want in a handle.
One other thing: do not use Cascade when cleaning this or any other cookware. Cascade has a unique quality that causes it to "oxidize" the silver finish. It will look like rust, but isn't. If this happens to your cookware, pick up a can of powdered Barkeeper's Friend at your local hardware store. It is usually 99 cents, and will get rid of any spotting on the metal finish. To avoid this altogether, use Finish Detergent, and you can't go wrong.
Hope this helps!

ive used mine more than once
i am the father of a family of 4. we cook at home a lot. i purchased this set thinking we where taking a step up in the world of cookware, boy where we wrong! we have used this set for less than a year and the only good thing i can say about it is that they cook better than the super generic sets you can purchase elsewhere . now the teflon is peeling off and the pots and pans are warped to the point that the lids dont fit on them unless you bend them back into shape, im getting to be a pro at this now. i purchased a used set at a garage sale and used them for 2 year before i bought this set. i think im going to throw this one away and get my old set back out. so save your money and dont purchase this set. hope you found my info useful.
