Good Dishwasher

Good Dishwasher.. It has most of the bells and whistles of the more expensive ones.. Works well at getting dishes clean.

Great dishwasher for the price

I think I have about 4 of these now - in different rentals - including my own home. It does the job. Watch for the sales - they come on every few months and reduces the cost by hundreds of dollars. I had sears hook it up - no problems with any hookup so far. The machine does the job it is supposed to do - so far the only thing I have noticed is the tub stains after a while - from hard water - but the dishes get clean - and that is what I buy this for. I particularly like and use the time delay feature. Also use the high water temp feature whenever someone in the house is ill - it kills more germs

Kenmore Model 1301 dishwasher-very quiet

Needed to replace 31 year old d/w. I didn't want a lot of bells and whistles. I couldn't spend a lot of money, either.  It took 3 weeks to get the unit, and I've only been using it for 9 days, but it is incredibly quiet,(our kitchen is open to the family room, can't even hear it). Easy to operate, and cleans like a dream. I have just been scraping, which was hard for me to get used to doing! Everything is spotless. Only two negatives I've found so far; The little catch to close the soap dispenser is hard to get closed, and it takes 3 hours for a cycle. however, most of the new units takes a long time, so that is not just this unit.  so far, I'm very satisfied.  As far as reliabily: Too soon to tell.

Nice and Quiet low cost surprise

My first dishwasher was very loud, but cleaned well. My second dishwasher was a little more quiet, but pricey, and didn't clean as well as the first. This dishwasher was the right price, near $300, cleans pretty good and is very quiet. I can't say great because I had a fork or two that didn't get completely cleaned, but it may have been my error with how I put the utensils in the rack. But it's so quiet, I sometimes can't tell that it's on unless I'm right in front of it. It has a low hum from the motor, and even the water spraying isn't loud. I would definitely recommend.

The motor went in less than 2 years!!

I bought this unit because of the high ratings on it. What a waste of money. I had to pay the repair guy $40 bucks to tell me its the motor and that a replacement motor is $250!! I dont think there are any good dishwashers out there any longer.

beats the old one by a mile at a good price, but not perfect

Found this unit for a nice price + discounts. Looks fabulous in black. Beats my old ~10yr antique by a mile with the tall tub and two spray arms. No frills, but generally gets the job done with the heated rinse/dry. The problems I have are that I still must wipe dishes most of the time because many often remain wet, and that some of my glassware still comes out hazy. Perhaps I haven't got rid of the haze left by the previous washer! I installed this guy myself as googling "dishwasher installation" made me an expert. Overall- very quiet, seemingly efficient, and great value for money. Had it for about a week now.

Seems to work well and quiet!

Replaced our 10 year old Kenmore with this model. The old one still worked but was not cleaning well at all. We are very pleased so far with our choice! Our older model had the delay cycle and because it was noisy we used the delay mode all the time. But to save money I had to choose between sanitize or delay...we chose sanitize. So glad we did! We don't need the delay mode...this Kenmore is so quiet I can hear the TV fine! So glad we bought it! Dishes are clean! It also has a basket for the filter which is a nice feature.

No fancy whistles and bells but does a great job!

I was looking to replace an old Kenmore dishwasher that we were told we should replace when we moved into our house 4 years ago (it was mustard yellow - and had no doubt long passed it's intended life span). The old washer did a great job but the old rollers broke and I didn't really have a choice but to replace it. Because of my old washers performance, I knew that I probably wouldn't go wrong by sticking with the Kenmore brand and I am pleased to say that so far so good. Even though I stuck with a very basic model I get super clean dishes and reasonably quiet operation - that's all I need.

Kenmore Diswasher awesome at any price

Purchased this product as a replacement for my old diswasher. the sales associate was extremely helpful and courteous. Because we wanted the diswasher in black it was ordered via the warehouse. The diswasher came the very next day as promised. I never installed a diswasher before and with the help of the Installation Manual about an hour and ahalf later we were ready to do our first wash. the diswasher was extremely quiet, the dishes were squeaky clean and performed as it said it would. It was so quiet I didnt even know it was running. My wife and I were satisfied and felt that this diswasher was awesome and an excellent buy for the price. When I went to write this review I saw that the price had been reduced. I went to sears with my recipt and the sears associate gave me back the price difference!!That's my kind of store. Thank you sears for a wonderful experience. Dom

Poor quality

We bought this model and after 3 1/2 yrs, the motor broke. Cost to replacet that? $350 plus the labor. Diswashers are expected to last 8-10 yrs-this does not! Would not buy another Kenmore product.

White Kenmore built in dishwasher

The Kenmore Built-In Dishwasher is an excellent product, well worth the investment. This built-in works so well, you won't have to use elbow grease to pre-clean dishes. Some of the added features of this Kenmore are pressurized spray nozzles and rinse aid dispenser. In fact there are so many features, you don't have to do anything, but turn it on and leave the dishwashing.  The Kenmore Built-In Dishwasher runs so smooth; it's almost like a baby sleeping.

Cleans Well, Quirky Functioning

We have had this dishwasher for about a year now. It has always cleaned the dishes very well and we have no complaints in that area. For some reason every couple of months the dishwasher will kind of freeze up though. The control panel seems to lock up, the dishwasher will not start and it can not be reset. In these instances we have tried unplugging and replugging and that does not seem to work. The only thing that has worked is simply time. If we wait overnight it will suddenly work again the next day. So far it cleans great, but I am concerend that these problems will turn into bigger problems.

Kenmore 24&#34 Built-In Dishwasher w/ Sani-Rinse - Stainless

Vast improvement over old dishwasher! I do find that if there is dried on food it may not come off completely during the wash cycle (even if using "pots & pans" cycle). Overall, above average and fairly quiet.

Very quiet and surprisingly roomy

We weren't trying to get anything fancy with this dishwasher, and just wanted someting basic. With that said, we did end up with a substantial difference in performance from our older dishwasher this replaced. Considering this is more of a base model, we found it much more quiet than we expected.  Our kitchen is open to our living room and normally we can hear the dishwasher run while we are watching TV.  With this one, we have to walk right up to it to tell if it is running or not.  It is also much more roomy; particularly on the upper rack. We can fit much taller items that we previously had to put on the bottom rack even though we didn't want to put them where they had a stronger chance to get damaged. Now we can put them on the top and don't have to worry about them. The performance of the cleaning is great too and we are going to do what we can to help avoid the calcium/hard water buildup that we got in our previous one that ended up degrading the washing performance. So we are going to make sure we clean this one more often with either vinegar or one of the products they make now for cleaning (think called dishwasher magic).  Overall, we are very satisfied with the performance and feel like we got a very good value considering the lower cost of the item.
