Description
Kenmore 24" Built-In Dishwasher - Clean Better at Sears
This Kenmore 24" built-In dishwasher 1325 is equipped with a pressurized spray nozzle that aggressively yet gently tackles grease and stains. The energy-efficient UltraWash HE Wash System uses water effectively, and the SmartWash HE cycle gives you more control without wasting a drop. During the wash cycle, the UltraWash HE Filter traps food particles to guarantee optimal performance. The rinse aid dispenser ensures reduced streaks and spots. This Kenmore dishwasher features an attractive stainless steel tub for improved drying that makes your glasses and dishes sparkling clean.

 • The ENERGY STAR® qualified UltraWash HE System uses up to 40% less electricity and 68% less water than some dishwashers, for a powerful clean that uses fewer resources.
 • The UltraWash® HE Filter traps food particles and keeps them from re-entering the dishwasher, so water is cleaner and dishes shine bright.
 • The SmartWash™ HE Cycle automatically adjusts water and energy use to the load size and degree of cleaning needed, helping save valuable resources.
 • With Delay Start, you can load the dishwasher, select the right cycle and delay the wash until you're ready.
 • Nylon-coated dish racks don't scratch or scrape delicate stemware or china, and they'll stand up to years of use and support the heaviest pots and pans.

Installation Plus

I agree with the other review: Installation was a bear compared with the other 2 I've installed. The brackets weren't a problem, a little tweaking. But, the drain/discharge tube inside diameter did NOT fit my orig. Had to install the new one. The worst part was the water supply line: Used to be copper ferruled line straight to the dishwasher brass fitting. They've now made this a PLASTIC hose bib (male) that you have to use their adapter with..NOT easy to line up w/o cross threading, and I HATE plastic!...OK, it's now in and so far works quite nicely...Clean dishes, quiet. The new machines run the cycles quite a bit longer than the old ones.

Washes well and quiet, but a couple issues.

|

Have had this dishwasher for about a year and have been happy with the quietness and the ability to wash. However, there is a problem with the upper rack. The rack is a rather loose fit and the left side rail pops out of the wheel assembly if you're not super careful when pulling or pushing the rack. It has actually fallen three times and broken dishes. Well, a few weeks ago it stopped draining, so I had the repair guy come out. He said the pump is fine and he cleaned out the drain in the wall, He said the wall drain is clogging. Well, it now drains sometimes, but not all the time. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now and I'm going to reroute the drain hose to the disposal to see if that fixes the problem. While he was here though, he also replaced the left side rail assembly for the top rack. Well, now it's worse. It tries to pop out almost every time I pull the rack out. I'm a bit disappointed in the quality of the new appliances in general. Hope it gets better!

Probably doesn't matter at this point, but I fixed the upper rack. After a service tech made it worse, I went ahead and ordered new rollers for the upper rack. Turns out the original rollers were defective and not manufacturered correctly. It was clear as day when I received the new ones. Problem solved...no more falling rack.

Beautiful and Works nicely

|

This is a beautiful dishwasher and it really works very well. The only thing I have a slight issue with is how stiff the door is to open and close.

Great Unit

|

Have had it for about 9 months now. We are very satisfied. It is quiet, does a great job cleaning everything, and is very user friendly. You can adjust the top rack as needed. It has several fancy run options, we just use the basic clean and dry cycle. It does run for a while, but so quiet it doesn't matter

Love it!

|

We bought this machine about a week ago. It is much quieter than our old dishwasher. The normal cycle takes under 2 hours with no dry cycle selected and things come out very clean. When using the 1 hour cycle option I've found some gummy white residue that takes a bit to get off, but I use the normal cycle more often. We bought this stainless look instead of stainless steel because we have children and didn't want fingerprints. The front is closer to stainless finish than others I've seen, and fingerprints wipe off easily with dishwater. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Looks good; a bit noisy; does a decent cleaning job

|

I would give this 3 1/2 stars if I could. I got this dishwasher last year during the Black Friday sales. It was on sale for $499 and total with installation, protection plan and tax came to $800. A technician installed it by himself without any issues in about 45 minutes.
I got it to replace my old Maytag which had started sounding like a dying animal. So this dishwasher is much quieter than the old one, but it is still louder than I would have liked. My friend has a Miele which is whisper quiet, but it also cost $2,000. I did not want to spend that much but was hoping this dishwasher would be almost as quiet. I live in a condo and if I run it before I go to sleep it will prevent me from falling asleep (I am a light sleeper though). If I have the tv on or music, I need to turn the volume up while the dishwasher is running. I use the Smart Wash function which works well but it's long (usually around 2 1/2 hours). The 1 hour wash doesn't get everything clean.

Good Dishwasher.....but get one with door top controls if you work in front of it

|

This dishwasher has been great. Quiet, dishes are clean, uses very little water and energy. My only regret is that I didn't realize that the control buttons are so sensitive. My work area is in the same spot and I keep turning the dishwasher on accidently. I have to remember to turn the control lock on as soon as the last load is finished. Kind of a drag. Thought about exchanging it for one with door top controls, but decided to not hassle with it.

Quiet dishwasher.

|

I have just installed my dishwasher and have been using it for a week. 7 loads so far and every dish has come out clean. This unit is very quiet and I'm nothing but impressed so far.

Reliable product

|

This is a good and reliable product, as Kenmore always tends to be. I only wish there were a tad bit more space in the dish washer - but theyre all standard size, so I cant complain there. Sometimes the cycle runs a but long, but that is easily correctable via the settings. Excellent product

Our Kenmore Stainless Steel Dishwasher is great

|

This Kenmore unit was a replacement unit. It was very simple to install. The water supply hookup was different and I should have purchased the kit that sears offers. After a second trip to Sears I was done in under 30 minutes once I had the correct fitting. The unit does a great job and is very quiete compared to the old one.

nice looking but hard to install.

|

I was pleased that the dishwasher was ready for pick up on the day it was promised. It looks very nice and runs quietly and seems to clean well. The instruction manual was easy to read and the controls are very easy to see and use.

The downside was installing it. It was very difficult for my husband to install. first he had to go out and buy a power cord. (In the specs it says it doesn't come with one, but the salesperson didn't mention that to me when I bought it. She did mention about the tubing so I did get that. The brackets that came with the dishwasher to mount under the counter did not work and my husband had to do a lot of bracket bending to make them fit. Installing the tubing was not as straightforward as our last Kenmore dishwasher was, so that was very frustrating. But all that being said, I ran the dishwasher for the first time last night and the dishes were clean and dry when I unloaded them. So I was happy!
