Kenmore 30" Freestanding Electric Range, Black

I just bought the floor model of this stove!! Once I got it home I started it right up and baked some cookies!! It heated up like a dream and baked those cookies to perfection!

Even though it was the floor model and on sale, the condition was great and we got in and out of there lickity split!

It is being used in my first apartment and I am very happy that I chose this one from Sears!

I did not choose this range, but it's the one I have to live with, and after using it for five months, I have gone from disliking it to actively hating it.  It is very difficult to clean, especially the oven; the burners heat unevenly (the electric coils are very widely spaced) and sit unevenly, so despite the oven being level, the nothing on the stovetop cooks evenly.  I have Viking cookware, so it definitely the stovetop, not my pots and pans, that is the problem.  The drip pans do NOT clean up easily with soap and water, and they discolored almost immediately with regular use.  If you don't cook or need to do more than boil water, then this is a suitable space filler for your kitchen.  If you actually want to cook, and especially if you like to cook, find a better quality stove.
