Happy overall, but would change some things

Chose grill because of price, brand & reviews. After 2 months of frequent use, am satisfied given price range. Not as sturdy as $800-$1000 grill, but expected that. Red color is beautiful - nice change from black/stainless. Two end shelves are super handy and sturdy. Love cover over side burner, provides flat space on both sides of cooking space. Controls are easy to use, lights easily. Handy thermometer on the cover. Iron grates are sturdy (some reviewers complained they don't "fit" but when grates get hot...metal expands. So, what's not to like? Searing area (about 1/3 of total space) takes away from regular cooking area. Cooking space is hotter towards back of grill. Not a huge deal if you know your fire but may present a challenge to inexperienced grillers. Given the price and features, this is a very nice choice.

Kenmore 4-Burner Red Gas Grill

This grill is nice looking and gets very hot. That's the only good things I can come up with. After being used about 10 times the ignitor no longer works. I have to use a long match to light it. Also, there is no way to clean the drip pan. I would never buy another.

Love this

My husband and I just bought this a couple weeks ago and we just love it. The best part is the inferred burner to help sear. We love to grill and this grill heats up really fast. It was worth every penny.

Great grill for the $$$

I have had this grill for almost 3 years and it is a very consistent cooking and high quality grill. I love using the searing burner for steaks and salmon. I have not had any issues with rust and grill is very stable. Grill has no problem getting hot fast and has ability to grill up to 700 degrees. I have kept grill covered and have consistently seasoned cast iron grill grates with olive oil to prevent rusting. I use it atleast 3 times per week and have not had any issues at all. Will Definately buy again and highly recommend unless you want to spend $700 on a Weber. Grill appears it will lasts several more years.

The grill is nice...but the unit had been dropped

The grill is aesthetically pleasing and functions nicely. The grill had been dropped or struck hard in another manner prior to purchase shifting the front plates where the grill controls are and resulting in permanent dis-alignment with the two side pieces. Should have been identified and the grill sold at a discount.

Don't buy this grill

After less than one year the insides of this grill rusted and crumbled making the grill completely useless, can't find receipt but really upset with kenmore quality!! Shop elsewhere

POOR MATERIALS AND QUALITY

THE WHOLE THING IS RUSTED, THE BURNERS AND THE HEAT SHIELD TRAYS. I JUST CONTACTED SEARS TO SEE IF THESE PARTS ARE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.TOO MAD AND FRUSTRATED
