We love this grill!

This grill is awesome! Well worth the money! Very well built to last! Nice having an extra burner on the side and the tank "hidden" behind the doors on the bottom. Easy to move to with the wheels on the bottom. Large grill at a great price!

Very clear assembly.

Appears to be a great grill

Put it together today. A little cumbersome but all parts and good instructions. Fired right up. Hope it holds up but I bought the 5 year warranty protection agreement to be sure.It was cheap enough that I felt the 5 year agreement was the way to go!!!

It's decent

I'm okay with this grill. I don't love it - but I don't kick myself for not spending the extra cash for a Weber

Definitely not resistant to rust

When I first got this grill 2 years ago I was very pleased. It had very even heat and did a great job with any type of grilling. I grill a few times a week year round. Hamburgers, Hot dogs, steak, salmon, tuna, shrimp, pork loin, peppers, if it can be grilled I grill it The grill does stay out in the weather but I figured it would hold up to the elements...after all it is a Kenmore. Well after 2 years the bottom rusted right out of it; literally fell out while I was grilling!. The heat guards are all rusted and the stainless steel actually started to rust. If you grill often and keep your grill out in the weather then this is not the grill for you. Save your money and by a good quality grill. If you grill once in a while and keep the grill in a garage or storage building it may be ok. I have had a number of grills over the years and this one was one of the worst for rusting.Keep in mind any new grill will work fine for a while. This did not pass the test of time.

Don't Buy - Rusted into pile of junk.

Rotted into a rusty junk pile after just one season. This is the second grill we got from Sears and it seems they are poor quality made from cheap metal. We cover the grill and do take good care of it. We had Sear come out when it was under warranty and they wouldn't do anything for us... After many years of I will never do business with Sears again.....Very unsatisfied.

Fantastic Deal!

Took a while to get assembled but expected that with its size & the number of components. Of course, used it straight away & found that finally I had a grill that does what it is supposed to do! Great for steaks, hamburgers, & bbq'ed anything, & though I've not yet had the chance to use the burner on the side but I'm expecting it to be as great as the grill itself. Love the idea that there's even cooking & that there's stainless steel surrounding everything! Also pleased that the propane tank is hidden behind the doors & the grill is so easy to move on 4 wheels (not 2)! The only problem I had were the length (or type maybe) of screws that hold the doors in place as opening the door on one side completely sheared them in half so I had to locate a few more around the house that made it perfect (they were tiny screws to hold the weight of stainless steel doors) but other than that, this grill is GREAT & the on-sale price was fantastic! Expecting it to hold up for many years & many bbqs!

rust bucket waiting to happen

the entire interior rusted out after only one year, even tho it was covered. Ever the "stainless steel" has started to rust. replacement parts are unbelievably expensive.

Good Value for the Price

My purchase price was under $200.00 and it took awhile to put it together. As others have noted, occasional improvisation is necessary during assembly. It's not a Mercedes. It was clearly designed and manufactured to meet a low price point. So be it.I wasn't able to measure the heat from each burner but it was hotter than my last reasonably-priced grill and hot enough to put a decent sear on chicken and steak. Started up immediately the first time (needs a AAA battery of course).At some point in its online description, I remember seeing the phrase "non-stick." I couldn't find the description again and in fact the Kenmore website can't find the model number of this grill but there aren't any cooking parts that are "non-stick." But that's the only thing I could find to complain about.It's not a Weber. I know it won't last for years but I don't expect it to. It does a great job for very little money and that's a rare thing these days.

Nice Grill

I just replaced a Kenmore grill I had for 7 years with this one. So far so good. A bit lighter than the old one but I just find Cooked my porter house steaks to perfection the other night. I had the grill put together by Sears and had it delivered, so I don't have the complaints other people have about assembly. I recommend getting it professionally put together.
